    I checked HP and it registered 414 RWHP. That is 220 more HP than a 300 net HP Corvette and 140 HP more than the best 350 net HP vete I have tested. It is also 90 HP more than my highly modified '69 355CID Corvette.

    Any SRT Radio Problems

    My radio cut out occasionally loosing the clock setting. They said it had a loose diode. I had it fixed just as it snowed, so I don't know if it really is fixed or not. I am hopeful it is. This was the only problem I've had in the first 6400 miles (driven in 6 months).

    Just got my 2006 blue SRT-10 convertible. Few questions . . .

    I think the extended warranty is a good idea, however the dealer's prices look high. When I was buying my '04 I also considered an '05 and to get 7/70 bumper to bumper coverage was just under $2000 and that was for a Dodge warranty.

    The extended coverage for a Viper with a factory 7/70 warranty costs almost as much as for the coverage for both 7/70 and extended coverage on a 3/36 covered viper only. It is not a good deal.

    Enjoy your Viper as often as time and weather allows! In Las Vegas that should be nearly every day. I've driven mine 5900 miles in the last 4 months and will continue to enjoy it until the salt and snow hits the roads!! I drive it daily and find myself taking the long way to work most days...

    I am curious as to how you can limit yourself to so few miles in a year. I'm in IA and since June I have driven over 5700 miles and will be putting the car away when the snow and salt hit the roads. I can't imagine how you could drive your car so few miles.

    My tach has worked fine since day 1. I'm not sure it is able to keep up with the engine in 1st gear though.
