    2009 vs. 2010

Very good point, "spot on" regarding Vipers. Heck, '06 was the last year the motor was 'open' for anything you wanted to do with it (vs. GenIV motor being more 'locked down' as far as mods). Vipers are all in all a very limited production car, so that alone probably indicates why there is...

    2009 vs. 2010

Quite astute sir! Little hisssstory from me: I first started the ACR hunt in Oct 2008 (great time, 'eh?), back then, fully loaded best price I found was $102K. Then come January 2009, $93K. Then the threat of Viper completely going away (Dodge could not sell Viper to anyone and Viper was...

    2009 vs. 2010

Little known 'fact', some dealers received '$2000 performance coupons' for their calendar year 2009 sales and can selectively apply those coupons (one per purchase) to any car they want. The dealers have a limited number of these coupons and can use them for any CJD product, not just Vipers...

    2009 vs. 2010

BTW, if that is true, that there are only 100 ACRs left "new" in dealer inventory then that is barely a 5 month supply and with the 2010s five months or more 'away', it goes to reason that most if not all 100 will be gone by July...(especially for the price sensitive folks as the 2010s will not...

    2009 vs. 2010

No reason for keeping this secret, yes, you can expect to buy a brand new 2009 at invoice or less The 0% for 48 months is just that, does not matter what the car is priced at. As for what GMAC (the ones offering 0%) will require (down payment) that is based on their review of your credit and...

    2009 vs. 2010

Here is something else to consider: If you bought a USED ACR for $80,000 and got a loan at 8.5% over 4 years you would pay a total of $94650. If you bought a NEW ACR for "invoice" of $97,000 at 0% over 4 years you would pay "$97,000" and have a brand new car...think about that for a moment...

    2009 vs. 2010

So, 1966 production was 27,720 Total And, 1967 product was 22,940 Total Together that is over 50,000 cars! With 1967 production about 82% of 1966's Now, take '09 ACRs (per Bill P.) at 260 units and (guess) of '10 ACR production at 280, you have less than 600 ACRs made between 09 and 10...

    2009 vs. 2010

For me there were several reasons to go with the 09 now (which I did 2 weeks ago) versus waiting for a 2010: * 2010 ACR's probably will not hit dealer show rooms until July or later (there is a serious lag between production and shipping, usually seems to be 3+ months). This means missing out...

    Check your tire pressures

Simple, they air it up to set the bead on the rim, if you watch them do it, it goes "pop" when it snaps into place. Just be sure to tell them what pressure you want the tire set to after they mount and balance. For pilot sports I find 32 pounds to be a safer rider than the "gas mileage"...

    Don't wait for 2012 Viper...buy now

Re: Wait for 2012 Viper...don't buy now ===however, you cannot turn off what is not there...think of braking by wire, how do you turn that off? it will always route through "the brain", there will be no physical connection... you are correct though, turn them off, if the option is given...

here's why: FMVSS No. 126 Electronic Stability Control Systems: There is no Canadian equivalent to this standard, which will be phased in for vehicles manufactured on or after September 1, 2008 and apply to 100 percent of passenger cars and multipurpose passenger vehicles, trucks and buses...

    0% Financing on 2009 Vipers

How does "great loan terms" do that? The selling price is still "up there", this is far better than offering "discounts" in terms of the used car prices.

Latest Viper Production News. No 2011.

Given 500 cubes, Ferrari would produce a motor with more than 1000HP in a stock configuration. But, when, if ever, is the last time any Italian Motor company produced an 8L motor for the street? I think they have only been produced such blocks for marine applications (think Lamborghini).
