GTSTF,
You'll love that MGW shift knob. It's not too short. After using it a few days, try another Viper with the original setup and you'll swear the original is meant for a school bus. You'll never want to go back.
One problem here is that everyone assumes that the new dealer (who didn't sign the contract) is automatically obligated to abide by it.
Hypothetically, what if the old (selling dealer) was being forced to sell his dealership due to financial difficulties, was a bit sadistic (work with me here...

Next we'll need an interior color poll!
If Dodge is considering a great option similar to the Connolly cognac leather offering, how about a more neutral beige, biscuit or gray color please instead of
Thanks!
I too have only had very good experiences with JonB. Hope he doesn't take this to heart, but even if he didn't have reasonable prices, there is significant $$$ value to the ADVICE he offers. In many fields, there's almost always someone somewhere who might offer a cheaper end product...usually...
Glad to hear of your positive experience.
Potamkin is welcome to call me any time day or night when the Reliable truck containing mine is nearby.
Congratulations on your new arrival!
Obviously anyone buying this car with good common sense should be getting it at a major DISCOUNT from MSRP.
From personal experience, I can tell you that *some* dealership owners have absolutely no idea of the break-in procedure for our snakes.
On the other hand, as a shopper, you've got to...
Whenever I've had any questions about any MGW stuff, I always get great service by going back to the source and calling George directly at MGW:

Sure, this is the USA and we all can do our own thing. Some Mercedes dealers sure riled me up last year with the clause in their SL sales contracts giving them a right of first refusal (or a cash penalty!) should you sell or trade in your car within one year. As is the case with 99.9% of new...

Redesigned Viper hotter, even faster
BARRY SPYKER
Just how hot is the new Dodge Viper SRT-10? Well, one national car magazine depicted a couple of eggs and bacon frying on the sills that cover its massive exhaust pipes.
The 2003 Viper roars with...
Nice tag! I had to appeal the initial rejection of mine-- explaining to the nice folks in Tallahassee that they should note the word ASP in their bibles (as they thought I was trying to say something else.)
Photos of the antenna placement and the head unit would be appreciated.
Put XM...

Re: Is the VCA helping \"resale\" of SRT 10 ?
Gee, after paying the dealer 1.5% over MSRP and the dealer's 3% holdback from Dodge maybe those dealers aren't doing so awful, especially when their floorplan cost for ordering a car that that's already sold is negligible. Throw in an even nicer...
Ivan--
What a fine opportunity for that nice dealership to throw a little South Florida VCA party in the SRT's honor---hey, it's been two entire weeks since the last great big S. Fla. VCA bash.
Congratulations!
Hopefully, the concept of making continual improvements even during the current model year will help with early issues.
There is almost no limit to the concept of waiting for improvement and debugging. Some might even want to buy an '02 for that reason but plenty could argue that '99 (re...
Hope someone will post experiences with Escort/Passport $1600 detection/jamming system http://www.escortradar.com/srx.htm or at least the $500 jammer alone http://www.escortradar.com/zr3.htm
C'mon Rick, sorry but you're not going to receive a lot of agreement with your perception of lack of value for the $100 annual VCA dues (but you're still able to post your opinions as are the VCA officers; don't think it's too legit for you to be on them). Notice too how no evil moderator has...
