Sorry to hear about your car, but glad to hear you are OK. As was already said, cars can be replaced. Be glad that you made it out OK. Thanks for sharing.
Congrats on the new ride. Road trips are fun. I did the same thing when I purchased my Z06. Picked it up at the dealership in Ohio and drove it back to Massachusetts. Only 900 miles though, not even close to your 2000, but it was a great experience. I would do it again in a heart beat!
Congrats on the recovery. Sounds like you did a great job and actually got what the car was worth. Good to hear. WIll only help others if they find themselves in a similar circumstance.
Great story, but I too would not be going for the touching of the car. Its all fun and games until someone has to go and touch the car. There's just no need to ever touch anyones car IMHO. :evilmad:
Sorry to hear about your loss. Hopefully you will be able to find a nice replacement. Two comments now:
1. Make your so called friend make up the difference on any additional out of pocket money for your new Viper
2. Salvage those ACR wheels. Easily worth $3500 - $4000 and getting...
Glad to hear that you are OK. Not something that anyone should have to see, let alone be involved in. I saw a bad motorcycle accident (use your imagination, guy, bike, no helmet, t shirt and shorts...) about 20 years ago and it still gives me the chills from time to time. All I can say is for...
Very nice!!! Looks almost like the orange on the Lambos. I think a set of CCW SP600's would look sweet on that thing! 19's on the front, 20's in the rear. That is one sweet color!
I have seen some nice GTS's with high miles going for around $30K. The last one I saw was a few months back on one of the boards which was a 2000 Steel Gray GTS w/ 70,000 miles. Asking price was $30K. Looked nice in the pics, but not sure of the quality of the car. Not salvage though. Good...
How do I find out how many Vipers were made in a specific color / combo. I tried doing a search on this site, but didn't have much luck :dunno: . Am I not looking in the right place? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
