    Is 25K fair price??

Well Tim I must say, I wish you the best of luck, but if it works out at that price, I will be very bitter! :)

Gonna Wait until next fall / winter.

Eh, maybe Sun Diego's advice isn't that great. It's nice to be passionate, but owning the car isn't nearly as fun if you're completely broke due to it. Nothin worse then being all dressed up with no place to go.

What's in your 3 year plan?

Re: What\'s in your 3 year plan? Make the payments on my current Viper. I love it to death and have no desire to upgrade, which is fortunate because I have no excess funds to put into said upgrade. With that in mind, I'd like to start my own business sometime in the next few years.

    Viper Anti-Theft Protection System

This was already posted in the off-topic section... More importantly though, I wouldn't exactly call having the car totalled a "protection system" :)

All this talk about Weddings and Vipers (pics)

Heh, my fiance has worries about getting her dress into the Viper. This proves that it can be done! Now all we have to do is cross our fingers that it'll be a bright sunshiney day.

Passenger seat seems stuck in its tracks... help!

I was putting on my hardtop the other day, and as usual I dropped one of the bolts, which dropped behind the passenger seat. So, I go to move the passenger seat up to get the bolt, and lo and behold it's not movin. I pulled off the seat cushion to get a look... the release lever is...

Re: How best to polish \'01 stock wheels? They're clear coated... treat em like paint. Also do a search, this topic has come up before.

Why is this not sold yet?

In six months they'll probably be a little more expensive. Less demand for RT/10s in the fall means cheaper prices. They go up by a few grand come spring.

    Vipers and Marriage

    >FranciscoR: The only answer I can think of is, if you led a wild "bachelorous" life, and your resources are limited, the woman may want you to sell the Viper so that money can go towards more "practical" things, buying a house, raising a family, etc. That's just on paper though. In...

    Vipers and Marriage

I'm marrying my fiance BECAUSE she loves the Viper as much as I do. Helps out with the payment and drives it whenever she gets the chance. That's a keeper. :) PS- We're also using the Viper as a "getaway" car at our wedding.

6'5 and fit GREAT in an SRT-10

6\'5 and fit GREAT in an SRT-10 There was an SRT-10 at Hooters last night, and got a chance to try out the seat. The fit was 5x better than my RT/10. (6'5, long torso). Looking forward, I actually saw windshield GLASS, instead of the top of the windshield. Knees weren't against the dash...

    Tires should have expiration dates!

Chris- When a tire is old, it's not the tread depth or build quality you worry about, it's the hardening of the rubber. Hard rubber doesn't stick, and if you go around a turn at even moderate speeds it can be very hazardous. Old tires are not to be trusted, ESPECIALLY in these cars.

While we're on the topic, what is the best way to store a spare set of tires?

Rear badging painted silver .....looks sooooo FINE

They are from Chrysler. Forget the part numbers, but I'm sure Nancy at Woodhouse or Wizard Chuck could hook you up.

Uh oh - First shift error

Incidentially, I've found that my short throw kit helps me shift much quicker and more accurately, not to mention while looking cooler as well. :)

Now that Vipers are losing their value....

Unfortunately not anytime soon... there are more cars for sale on Ebay right now (90) then I've seen since I started looking two years ago.

Rear badging painted silver .....looks sooooo FINE

I agree totally... I have the "chrome" side and rear badges... 10x better then the body color ones!

    paintjob

My Viper was repainted by the previous owner due to the usual wear of the original paint. Kept color close to stock, a little deeper red though. Just about everyone says it looks better. I doubt it will do anything but help the car's value.
