Wizard?
Just a note they're not cheap, I know the side hood emblems are ~$70 each side... I have the "chrome" ones on my red RT/10, and I love the way they stand out!
I know that when I purchased my extended warranty, it came with a booklet detailing exactly what WAS covered... if your part wasn't on that list, you weren't covered, plain and simple.
Call your dealer and say you need a copy of your warranty terms/details, they should be able to help you.
Re: Pic of BlackNBlack\'s Custom Stereo Install
That looks like a Kicker Solobaric speaker? Fiance has one in her daily driver, and it hits pretty nice. Should sound great.
This is a pointless question
1. If you can afford to pay cash for a Viper, you're probably managing your money well enough that you don't need advice on how to handle it
2. If you can't afford to pay cash for a Viper, you have to finance it.
Period.
Routine maintenence is not covered. Anything you would ever change doing maintenence (spark plugs, wires) is not covered.
Anything that is "wearable" is not covered. In addition to the obvious things (clutch, brakes, etc), this also includes a lot of suspension components as well...
I like the idea from a while back, I forget who posted it...
take off your emblem, run the sides of it through a knife sharpener, re-apply. God help the first punk who tries to remove it with his bare hands. :)
Re: Possibly Buying a \'94 - need help
We paid right around an even $40k for ours, which included:
-head gasket work
-A/C recharge
-18" wheels/tires, both tops
-4 year MaxCare warranty
-Custom paint job
-Delivery
and last but not least... peace of mind from buying from Bill P!
Not...
Re: Possibly Buying a \'94 - need help
I'm with everyone else agreeing that you'll probably want new tires.
And having just bought a '94 I'd say $42k is definately on the high side... high 30s (if the car is in near flawless condition) is probably more like it. Low to mid 30s if the car is...
My motor has accumulated a bit of grime and soot, and I'm not sure what the best way to clean it is. (I'm refering to the red covering of course). I tried just a wet rag (since I wasn't sure of how tolerant that area is to excess water), and it helped a little, but not much.
What do you all...
Re: Rear View Mirror is all up in my face and I can\'t see!
Without the seat lowering kit, my head sticks up far enough that I can just look over the sport bar to see what's behind me.
:D
Matt,
My A/C was just recharged two months ago, so if you wanna meet up one night this week, let me know and you can sample it as a baseline.
Drop me an email if you're interested.
Re: Rear View Mirror is all up in my face and I can\'t see!
I definately need the 2" kit (6'5") but as the "better half" also drives the car, I need the 1" to retain the travel. My problem isn't so much the rear view mirror, but the fact that the top of the windshield is straight ahead in my...
My Viper tech said, "they always clunk a little from SOMEWHERE". In other words, if it's not a huge clunk, he seemed to be saying to just live with it.
There are definately places to rent an exotic car there. I checked Island Riders website, $399 for 24 hrs for their Viper. Prowler was $299 and Vette $249. I'm sure your gas milage would be great on the road to Hana. ;)
Austin,
I do not know the exact paint code but I know that the brand of paint is (and forgive me if I butcher the spelling) Sickens. I could probably find it if I did some digging, but I figure if I have anything done, they'd just match whatever's on there anyway.
Thanks for the compliment!
