    Anything is better then the original water pump, I can't begin to tell you how many went bad because of the plastic impeller that was original equipment on the 2001, Dodge has remedied that problem since.

    Someone told me they changed the compound after I blew through a stop sign, the EBC Reds at the time would not stop my Viper and was down right dangerous, I'm guessing they needed to be heated up this was back in 2001.

    I'm sorry, I put a set of EBCs on my 2000 and took them off the same day, they were awful. It's been a few years since I put the EBC reds on and I hope they changed the compound and made them better, I use Brakeman 3 pads, the are a good "progressive" pad what works well on the non-abs Vipers.

    Chuck is right on, the absolute best brake fluid for tracking is Castrol SRF, I would not use anything else!!! :headbang: .

    Been there done that with my 1969 L71 (427x435) roadster, 3 year frame off resto got me NCRS Top Flight, 2000 RT/10 is easier to maintain :D I agree with 2whitevipers, I'd go out to my garage and try to choose between the two side by side, Viper always wins out unless I was going to a car show...

    I used to drive that stretch of PCH all the time in my '00 RT/10, there seemed to always be idiots looking for a race, I just sit at the red lights and let them zoom off the line, Sunday is a pretty busy day to be racing.

    Focus had a much better line, that was probably the only reason he could hang with the Viper, the guy in the Viper couldn't drive a track worth a sh*t!!!

    Looking for brake advice

    I've always used the Brakeman 3 for the Gen II, excellent street/track pad, very "progressive" pad for non-abs Vipers, not a "grippy" as some to avoid flat spotting.
