The front view reminds me of a Ferrari 360. Very cool stance! Go with some round lights within the taillight lenses, maybe some clear lenses, and the rear view will be complete.

Check to see if the the edge of the door touches the hood when the front of the hood is popped up. Stand outside the car with the hood in that position and carefully open the door while watching that area for contact. This might be the culprit.
