    Don't buy the extended warranty when you buy the car (unless you KNOW you're getting a great deal on the warranty). Generally, they'll try to sell it for full price. Shop around. I saved several C-notes on the extended warranty on my 95 RT by shopping around.

    I have TechEdge w/7057 (VW) sensor. I had a similar problem which turned out to be a short in the TechEdge cable on the end where the O2 sensor plugs in. The individual wires were heat cracked from heat off the heaters. They were shorting out intermittently causing high (lean) readings...
