I saw this at Gingerman once with Gen-1 Viper that was low on coolant. The car quit running. The tank with the radiator cap was dry! We added coolant and everything was fine.
It will self-learn, but I would reset the PCM to hasten the process.
BTW, the Gen2 injectors are a closely guarded secret for Gen1's with extensive headwork. You car is running too lean w/o them. I think you will be pleasently surprised with the hp and tq the Gen2 injectors free up.

The VEC2 installation requires wrestling with a wiring harness connection under the coilpacks. It would be easy to knock a coilpack wire loose.

Search the media section for my username. I used a 2" shaft, and it's perfect for the '99-'02 knobs... not too short.
In Illinois, they scan OBDII. If everything's normal, you're on your way. If not, they put you on the dyno and do the sniffer test.
I would plug in a scan tool before you go just to make SURE you have no codes.
Mine arrived yesterday, as well, and I had very high expectations that these would match the high-end carbon fiber pieces (from TNT) in my car...

One nice thing about Roanoke is that your car is always stored indoors, parked with all the other customer Vipers, across from the service desk. It's never unattended.
