    No, won't be either. She's one of my former students and still in college. It's best not to get too familiar. Don't think my girlfriend would be amused anyway. Got brave and showed her the pic... that was OK. Alas, my class population is 90+% female and everybody knows who drives the viper.

    I wouldn't buy a viper on the cheap. Probably find one, but with high mileage and/or suspicious history. That $35K viper started off in the 80s or more. The maintenance and repairs will be the same in either case.

    are vipers rare?

    Viper sightings are rare in my area. Half the vipers sold from local dodge dealer since 2006 have been totalled. I go weeks without seeing another one. I take mine to work 2-3 days a week, but such useage seems to be unusual around here.

    Cannot offer info on stripe specs, but recently striped my 06 coupe. I took it to the local Dodge dealer (where I bought vehicle) and ask them to stripe it per factory specs for 2006. They brought in a striped 06 and took the required measurements.

    Bought daily driver...

    I have an 06 mustang GT. They can be modded to go quite fast. Pic from 2008 of my car, launching off a transbrake with 22 lbs of boost. It's now modded beyond street use (not sure how smart that is???).

    Referring to speed shop. Most homes in this area were built in the last 10-15 years. Not sure why so many do not have garages. Some have covered bays for 4 or more cars. There is a brand new house next to mine and he has garage doors while the back of the garage is fully open (unbricked).

    My commute to work is 15 minutes on a quiet country road (55 mph limit), therefore I rarely do any city driving. The A/C is frigid and way better than on the 02 GTS I had. I drive it about 1/2 the time and leave it alone if the weather forecast is 50+% rain. I drive around the speed limit...

    How often do you guys clean your car?

    Living in the country, I am more concerned with the ducky and goosy poop that accumulates around the car. Lucy (the white goose) poops like a human. Hose down that section of the driveway daily.

    Just checked.....Kaya (not Kayla or Kala). She owns/drives a blue 06 coupe, here in Louisiana. Think she bought it new. She knows way more about Vipers than I.

    Known Kayla (if same Kala) for a few years. Saw her and her blue srt10 coupe at a local car meet last weekend. She is very knowledgeable about these cars. There were four srt10 coupes lined-up including mine. Her car has VNOMOUS or something for a plate.
