    GTS rear fascia adjustment?

MIne isn't consistent all the way across but not as extreme as yours. It used to bother me a little, now I don't even think about it. The great thing is you don't see any of that from the drivers seat. 43K miles in 4 years now.

    Bloody Hell!!

They generally don't offer it for expensive tires. A friend of mine was the manager at one of the local Wheel Works. He wouldn't give it to me. But I harassed enough during installation that he finally gave it to me. It cost 10% of tire cost. It really paid off as previously posted...

Brown Color on my Speedo Plastic

Must be a Texas thing... All that humidity and sunlight (UV) have accelerated the breakdown of the rubber causing it to stain the gauge face. I don't if it is leeching or out-gassing. If it is leaching into the gauge face, you won't be able clean it. If the transfer is by out-gassing, there is...

Brown Color on my Speedo Plastic

I haven't gotten into the dash on this car, so I don't know how difficult it is to take this gauge apart or if it is even possible. I am sure someone else has....we will have to wait to see what they say. Good Luck!

Brown Color on my Speedo Plastic

That's funny guys!!! I didn't put brown on speedo together until you pointed it out! To the OP, It looks like the rubber on the Trip Odometer Reset button is deteriorating. I don't think that there is much you can do except to take it apart and clean it or replace it.

    Bloody Hell!!

I agree with what Nine Ball says. I haven't heard anyone say that it is safe to patch a sidewall. There is to much flex to insure a good durable bond. No one wants to be liable for what could happen. To sssaammm, I feel you pain. It happen to me too. However, I was fortunate enough to have...

    Rotor recommendations

Another Option, Roe Racing.... Rotors - Roe Racing A lot of options available in your price range. I lucked out last summer and got a set of the EBC's Ultimax slotted for under $400 shipped. Wish I had bought two sets...that deal is long gone.

    fuel filter

I agree that it is one job that I do not look forward to doing again. I don't have access to a lift so I had fussed around in various contorted positions under the car trying to get the top clip undone. I finally unfastened the fender liner except for the outer rivets and reached the top by...

From Oil Change to Nightmare....Viper Crashed by a Dealership

Clarification.....Thank God it wasn't me! I just found this when doing a search for Viper related stuff. I have heard of stories, I remembered a few posted on here and wanted to share one more. With only one exception, I have never left the Viper with anyone for service. I am not that...

Failed Inspection Because of Wiper Blades! - Vent

No, they still inspect for original emissions equipment, but they don't look to see if the tires have tread, or if brakes, lights, horn and wipers work. As long as it passes smog they are okay with it.

Failed Inspection Because of Wiper Blades! - Vent

We don't have safety inspections here in California...yet! The state has a big enough racket going with the smog inspections and registration fees and nearly 10% sales tax.

Can someone get a measurement from there gts?

Jordan, I am not really sure what you are asking. Did you mean the front or rear wheel? Curiosity got the better of me and I went out and measured the distance front and rear. For the front, from center of the wheel to the front bumper, parallel with the ground I measured ~15.5 inches on both...

From Oil Change to Nightmare....Viper Crashed by a Dealership

I wonder how many horror stories there are of dealership employee's wrecking Vipers when needlessly driving the car off of the lot for service that does not require a test drive? I know of several reported by members on this site, but has anyone made a list? Here is one I stumbled across...

    Drivers window not working.

Glen, my first guess would be one of the wires going through the door at the hinge has broken as previous suggested. These wire get bent and bent back every time the door opens and closes. After so many cycles the metal fatigues and breaks. Good Luck! PS I just now realize that it was...
