No I didn't. I saw that on mine... so I know exactly what you are talking about. That wire on mine was a little brown but not nearly as bad as the one I fixed. Just lazy on my part and wanted to get my car started. I'll mess with it later though. Thanks for the heads up Ray!!!
This is probably happening on ALL Gen II Vipers (also Gen I possibly). CHECK YOUR FAN RELAY CONNECTORS!!!!!!!
As my car was torn apart for my Paxton install, I tackeled this today. Took me about 3 hours or so... My theory is the wire is too small and under a high current load when the high...
The paint on the sides would be cool on a drag car in my opinion, but none of this on a Viper. If the car was cheap enough.... it would be cool to just spraypaint the whole thing flat black and see how long it would last.
I had NO CAT and Borla exhaust on my 94' RT. I thought is sounded pretty good. Headers would have been primo.

Mine is a bit overkill for my project but wanted to do it right the first time around for upgrading mods later down the road. I have been keeping pretty steady track of my system and all of the components. Car is still in the process of being built but should be around 600HP with a Paxton /...

That hose runs from back behind the knobs on your dash, for the heater.... and the other end connects to the diaphram on the heater flapper, which blocks the hot air from coming into the car. There's your problem. If that flapper is open, air will come into the vent on your hood and go through...

My assumption is...
Just a thought, check your vaccum line on the bottom of the heater blower motor area. The line or the connecting rod to the diaphram, to open and close the heater door may have come off. It will be obvious if you pop the hood and look. Located down low, right in front of the passanger door under...
