Guys, I am sorry for confusion here. I was looking for someone with satin finish MGW ring interested in swapping for the polished chrome version. I have my OEM piece. Again, sorry for the confusion.
Both generations have the same trunk lid. The seller has no clue obviously, not a good sign IMO. I think the seller may be mistaking generations vs. coupe and convertible differences.
I have the polished version, along with the matching cup holder ring and after installing them, it is just too much bling for me. If anyone has these pieces in satin finish, I would gladly swap mine.
So would I. More pics would require getting the car out of the garage and to be honest, certain events recently motivate me not to drive it for a while, LOL.
Look at Autoform website, Steve Dryer offers a pretty nice one that has adjustable "attack angle". If I were you, I would consider the fact that wing will have to be drilled into the trunk, unlike the lip. Not sure if this matters to you though.
It replaces the stock piece but it is larger, extending more at the end and lower. The APR diffuser is a molded 3D piece vs. OEM flat sheet of CF with aluminum rakes attached to it. The piece weighs actually less than OEM in spite of being bigger-pre preg CF is a very strong material but super...
For real as others said. A bit of superlubricant and exercising the lock regularly helps. When I tried mine, I thought I was going to break the lock or the key. Freezing temp makes things even worse.
Payment made. Let us just hope this situation can be avoided in the future, not through the vigilance of car owners but safeguards a car club should create to protect everyone.
I guess we shall see. Seeing how things are still "unclear" to VCA representatives and continuous demeanor of Prescott in the meantime and no money being paid, my conclusions certainly differ from yours.
Yup, they are for sure. Absolutely no BS and always stand behind their products. I did not have to pay until the part was actually at their So Cal location, ready to ship.
Autoform is a very reputable vendor and they make their stuff in house. Autoform has a lip style spoiler for your car. I would be very careful dealing with other vendors.
LOL, there is considerably more CF coming on the car when all my other pieces are done. On the graphite car, it is actually hard to tell it is CF since the color is so close and the weave is so fine.
Thank you. Sorry for a crappy picture and dirty car. I had to do the install twice after forgetting to remove the center bolt and switch the clips from the OEM diffuser to the new one so it got dark outside when I was done.
This is just one piece of the build puzzle but nevertheless. Thanks to Peter from APR for coming through with this one. This was a special order part due to the weave APR does not use currently and it took almost five months to get it done (APR is very busy with their regular production stuff...
Any of the current aftermarket DVD players should include an auxiliary video input that is used for external camera. What would be nice is to have both front and rear camera. Clearing speed bumps and curbs is as challenging in the Viper as backing up.
Very well put. This guy had plenty of opportunity to fix the damage he inflicted and prevent what takes place now. Apparently he either does not understand or refuses to understand that the judgment against him is final and the only thing he should do now is to pay up and show at least a trace...
Well, I would say the day is over...

Why am I not surprised that he broke another promise? I guess we shall see what VCA will do. In the meantime, I will have start collection proceedings. I see he is "building" another spoiler, God help those who will fall...
Look in the mirror to see the perjurer. You have until the end of today to comply with the court order and pay off the judgment against you. You had 30 days to file an appeal. As it is, the judgment is final and should you not comply, I'll take the appropriate steps to collect my money...
