Did you forget to send the money? I am truly beyond the mediation part and would like to move on. You had ample opportunity to make things good for the last seven months, making the payment to satisfy the outstanding judgment against you is the only part you should do at this time. I am glad...
LOL, do not sell VCA short. I would like to at least partially credit VCA but I really cannot. I realized quite a while ago I was on my own which indeed left a bad taste in my mouth. After all, with so few Vipers around, I thought this would be a close knit community. Blaming suppliers in...
I am glad that at least things were clear for the judge.:)
As it is, I do not see any money. If he does not pay up, I'll start clarifying things to resolve any doubts. In the meantime, I am not surprised things do not seem clear for you after having that lengthy conversation with the...
Judgments against a vendor, ordering monetary compensations are pretty straight forward. Faxing a copy of the judgment should result in immediate suspension of vendor until issue is resolved. Complaints should be investigated, resulting in a strike against the vendor and suspension afterwards...
I got a note from Steve a few hours earlier, stating his willingness to pay off the judgment. I shall certainly announce when the money is in my account. I would still recommend looking into entire system and creating some meaningful safeguards. I think this being a news may be more disturbing.
I think you may be missing a bigger picture here. I am fortunate enough to look after myself, there are many who for various reasons cannot. Blaming a vendor for taking advantage of a system that encourages bad dealings will not create a solution discouraging others from trying. If there is...
Yes, I am fairly local to him and this is my only saving grace. If I was out of state, I would be skrewed and this is why I would like to see safeguards protecting all buyers, regardless of their location. I am sure there are ways to do it, I have seen it done in other places, including...
What kind of response is one that does not respond to anything? You really got me confused here.
Maybe VCA should be a part of the suit to change things? What procedures are you referring to regarding bad transactions? Can you point me to the relevant information? I seem to recall that...
Here is a message I received from VCA Forum Staff on 8/19/13 after posting a thread in Gen 4 section:
"Be advised your new thread has been moved to the vendor area, please do not start any more vendor related threads in the main forums." I have also, at the same time, placed an inquiry...
I do not expect VCA to actually collect the money for me, I am perfectly capable of doing this myself, just like with suing Prescott in the first place. All I have asked is if VCA chooses to "motivate" sellers with judgments against them to fess up before allowing them to continue calling...
I assume you speak for VCA and represent official stand of VCA on these issues? Not sure if you caught the part where this is no longer a dispute? This case has been reviewed by court and there is a judgment against Prescott, ordering him to pay the money he took from me after making a...
Thank you very much. I always like to give others a benefit of doubt before concluding anything, thus, I raised the question. Apparently I must enjoy asking rhetorical questions:D Rest assured, I'll keep pressing on until this is resolved.:2tu:
Since you already disclosed the name, I already sued him and had my day in court with him. He lost twice, first for owing me the money for merchandise he never delivered and the second time, for his countersuit, trying to extort more money from me (yes, he actually showed up and countersued...
Without naming the VCA vendor for now, I have a court judgment against this vendor. My question here is, does VCA provide any assistance in collecting such judgment? I have already found out that unfortunately, there is no assistance in resolving issues with VCA vendors and reliance on legal...
Thank you very much. I am actually thinking about others and safeguards that should exist to prevent the opportunity in general. I really do not want anyone else to go through it. Just trying to make a change I guess.:)
Sorry, I was a bit preoccupied getting my paperwork in order for my court date with Mr. Prescott.
Anyways, I wish you luck:2tu: Perhaps you should reserve your praises until you receive the heads and everything checks out? Come to think about, seeing the prices, I really wish you luck.:)...
I made it public back in August. The problem with "public" in vendor section is that nobody can see it, it is buried within specific vendor section. There is really no reason for a vendor to respond since nobody can see it anyway. Seems like the system should be changed.
Ebay calculates feedback over 12 months, you can still see the negatives, they just do not count toward the score. It is ok not to deliver, it is not ok to take money and not return it when nothing is delivered. Maybe there should be an escrow account system and those with complaints against...
Correct, including buyer being able to withdraw the negative feedback upon resolving issues with the seller. I do not see any incentive for dishonest sellers here to resolve issues at all. In fact, it seems the lack of accountability may encourage such behavior.
Have you seen this thread? http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/663473-Someone-please-make-this-for-2006-2010
This is how it happens, at least how it happened to me. I looked at the bad reviews, four were locked, giving an illusion of being resolved. The thread that did me in, is still going...
