I drove mine yesterday for hours spirited. Tires were decently warm I would think after that. Did a roll on punch it in second from about 30 mph after all that driving and I got a big time fish tail. I didn't feel the tires spin though. Rear end just wanted to come around and say hello, gotcha...
I can't hear the stereo in mine very well, except when parked. Don't know that I really would want it otherwise. Glad you enjoyed all that work though. Sounds like an awesome system.
Thanks for the tip, I'm sure your right. Something about the word permanent bothers me though. I'll just keep an eye on it for now and see if that line reappears where I lightly sanded it off. If it does its going back to stoptech to let them do the metalurgy analysis.
3rd gear in a Paxton car is like hitting the warp speed button. They really launch in that gear. 4th is good to but you you are flying by the time you hit that gear coming out of third. I love mine....
Jon,
Thanks. Yes I did buy these through you. The note on the vane foot print is a good thought, but the vanes point in the opposite direction than the crack does. Anyway rain here today and I plan to pull my wheels to clean the inside barrels and wheel wells. While doing so I will emry cloth...
Same thing happened to mine afer sitting for a while (about 3 weeks) during some mod installs. When the thermo opened and the system pressurized I have't seen the condition return. Keep an eye on it, but I wouldn't worry about it from personal experience.
I am still not convinced it is cracked. It cannot be the e-pad impression as that pad is about 1/8 to 1/2 shorter in width than the length of this line. It could however be the primary pad left a mark after washing last time. I am going to emry cloth it, and see if the line is still there. If it...
What do you guys think. This is a pic of my left rear rotor. Is that a stress crack I see? I have stoptech two piece aerorotors all the way around. I am hoping this is an e-brake pad impression but it sure looks suspect to me. Stoptech engineers are also reviewing this pic and promise to give...
I used stoptechs proceedure when I installed their rotors with the EBC reds. Stoptechs proceedure was much more agressive than EBC's. I now have 1,000 miles on them and everything is great.
