It may be an OLD thread but it was a pretty good read. I don't mind reading some of these old theads as i haven't even been here a year yet.
:eater:
And good job on teaching a leason to some kids that need to be put in line from time to time.
All im sayin is if the design has been done for over a year and a half now and it is being built in Detroit why not show it at the Detroit auto Show. :dunno:
Im a little bumbed out as i am going to it this saturday and would have loved to check it out.
:(
No Camfab i was not a welder their, but i am one by trade. Used to be. But i would have loved to had a chance to weld on that line but i left the factory for another welding/fabbing job. I worked in the factory but not on the viper line. But i knew the people that were working on it. And when...
Well im not sure if its mudd or bad welds but i wouldn't count bad welds out. The place that use to make/weld the Viper frames is a factory 15 minutes from my house. I used to work their about 10 years ago. Scretchy to say the least. All though they did quality control, there was some stuff that...
I bought my Dream car. I was 15 when it came out and fell in love with it. But never thought i would ever own one. It was the looks that got me hooked, then as i got older and before i bought it, it was how rare it was. It wasn't just another belly botton. Last but certainy not least the power...
This is just my 2 cents from what i've seen friends go through around where i live. If the Ins company says it shound only take 27K to fix, but once it gets to a shop and it turns out to be 35k. The shop notifies the Ins Company that their quote was off and it is still going to take another 8K...
That is kinda funny. And i would expect to get a better deal on a NEW car that is already 2 years old as well. But i do kinda agree with Ronvpr when the dealers said they were not making money selling it for 13500 off the MSRP. Thats BS. But if the dealer bought the car for 90K, it doesn't...
Thats a great thing your doing for your family. You can always buy another car, but you can NEVER buy another family. You seem to be a good man, and good things will happen for you and i hope everything works out for our family.
Thoughts and prayers.
Well as far as i could tell when i did mine is that there is no plug and play for our gen of vipers. The newer ones have one i believe. And every other car in the world. This is due to the external amp i believe and the factory head until uses an 8 pin plug to run to the amp. All your speaker...
:omg: That is one sick viper. I wish i was in the market for another. Kinda hard to explain to the wife though.
Good luck with the sale, its gonna make somebody a happy owner.
I don't think you're gonna find one for a 2000 gts/rt. The only way i know of is to use the FM signal modulator. And those don't sound the greatest. I had the same problem with mine. I use my iPod all the time, so i just swapped out my factory Alpine for a Kenwood Excelon unit and couldn't be...
Nice colour combo. And that is alot of snow. None here yet thank god, and it was about 60 today, but thats kinda odd for this time of year. And yes i know how you feel. Mine is put away as well. I took it for a good ride 2 weeks ago. Now its away untill May.
:(
:lmao:
That was some funny sh*t. That kid did a really good job.
So i just cancelled my Cat Back system i ordered and went and bought a King can. Should sound mint!
I can't believe i just found this thread for the first time. Its been some good reading and almost makes me want to tare into mine. You must be pretty confident in your self to tackle this job in your garage. And good for you. Keep up the good work and keep posting so i can keep reading. :2tu...
Thats amazing power for the money. And Ford just killed the sales on the 2011 & 12's. Who in their right mind would now by an 2011 or 12 GT500 knowing what Ford has coming out spring of 2012. Why not order the much improved 2013. I've always been a fan of the mustang and have owned several and...
Nice job and glad it all worked out.
I have a couple questions for you, i hope u don't mind.
For the fit, did they fit back in the same hole as the OEM or are they sitting on top? Also is there any clearence issues on the passenger side hitting the dash when the door is shut? Just wondering...
