Re: thinking of powder coating my ccw sp600's they can't stay clean and scratch easil
Sorry dude, I was having a bad day that day! Damn 95K on a Viper? Thats awesome! Still running strong? Yeah I have found that the ceramic pads from autozone work great LOL. I had them on my Vette, and...
Re: thinking of powder coating my ccw sp600's they can't stay clean and scratch easil
Maybe you should go re-read what I posted then. For a polished rim, they require extra attention if you drive the car A LOT. You can't let brake dust sit on them if you want them to look the same a year...
Re: thinking of powder coating my ccw sp600's they can't stay clean and scratch easil
I got CCW's and chromed them. It works great and looks good too. The biggest thing you can do though, is get some ceramic pads like someone already mentioned. I have just normal, run of the mill, ceramic...
This is about the same thing I was going to say. The biggest first impression turn on for MOST women is a guy that is financially secure. When a woman see's a Viper, most of the attention getting part of it is she knows that you are financially secure (or, is under the impression that you...
Sigh...:lmao: I had the cowl painted/clearcoated just like you would paint a door or any other part of a car. Basically, it matches the black paint that the rest of the car is already painted in.
Gavin, pull the wire boot off that runs from your door to the car. You will have to open the door all the way. This is a common problem with Vipers. I have re-wired 7 wires on my driver door myself. The wiring is pretty simple, all of it is color coded. just splice in some extra wire and...
That and keep in mind that pretty much every year GTS is a good buy. Be flexible on the year and that may help you as well. I do agree with the rest of the posters, stay away from a repossession. IF the guy was not able to keep up on his pymts, who knows how hard the car was driven the last...
Sigh, I understand what you are saying, but facts are facts bro! You cannot tint below the tint line that was put on the glass of every American car from the factory! The clear idea is a good one. There was a guy who had done his Titan truck headlights like that and it came out awesome...
I'm talking about windshield tint only, the subject of this thread ;).
Show me the law in any state where it is perfectly legal to tint below the tint line on a windshield and I'll buy u some beer!
DAMN! You have the second one in production?!??!! Thats awesome man! How many miles are on the car? Got any pics? Sorry for the excited post but I thought that the first two were in the museum.
And that was probably a corrected number for your car right VENOMIS?
The dyno graphs in this thread, if those numbers were uncorrected, those numbers would be more like 530/580 LOLOLOL which are even more far fetched!
Maybe you should do a little research. Like the video of the 1995 Viper against his buddies new C6Z06. They went from a 50 roll...and the Z had, about 10 lengths on it by the time they shut it off at 160. Built like junk? Do you even know what your talking about? I'm not a Corvette lover...
Uhhh dude, I could make your car dyno 600RWHP if I wanted. It's just changing a few parameters around. Oh and BTW the alley isn't that bad lol. Seriously go read the thread, the guy even admitted that his car either has mods he doesn't know about or the dyno is messed up. Vipers are finicky...
Sigh, that was an old thread. You need to read the responses in the alley on that. There is no way...and I mean NO WAY EVER a stock Gen II GTS would dyno anywhere close to that and I think you know better.
On the Z06 subject, assuming you just have a catback in your 2006, I would race you...
Alex LMMFAO this has already been determined to not be correct or their were mods on the car he didn't know about. There is no Stock Gen II GTS on the planet that would dyno this...
Hey man look, he called your post lame and you are getting that bent out of shape on it? Even though this site is a cordial site, it's still the internet and from my short time on here I have seen people called a lot worse and not got in any trouble! Grow some skin!
Now onto your comment...
Wow...I see a lot of tickets in your future. Why would you want to tint the windshield anyway? You do realize that if you happen to get in an accident, and your adjuster comes out and looks at the car, they can deny your claim because of the windshield being tinted. It's like if someone is...
You got to give respect to the C6Z, that car is a bad mother when comparing stock to stock. Only the Gen IV can beat it and even then the Gen IV driver better know what he is doing if the guy driving a C6Z has skills...
