Yes, IN.
It would be nice to express those opinions in a constructive way without the unnecessary insults and flames. If an individual has built up tension and stress, take it out at the gym and not on your brethren.
I think that the large blue decal and white SRT part looks great. I think the dual red logos are a bit over the top. I do think that those logos would be cool if u could spray them black. They would be more under-stated, yet add something to the top.
There is such a thing as constructive...
I know for cars and coffee a couple of weeks ago, there were only a couple of Vipers out there. The weather was chilly and gloomy, so I almost didn't go. No snake here yet. That is why I m hoping to see some snakes....and get the WAF. I hope more show up next month. Keep up the great work...
Congrats BassFan!! That is one of my favorite color schemes on ANY Viper. Unique, clean and mean.
You locals should go to cars and coffee this Saturday in Dallas. I don't have a snake yet, but would love to see yours....wait, that didn't come out right. LOL. I am sure a lot of the...
+1 Bill. Thank you for always leading by example on what it means to be a positive Viper owner and enthusiast.
The Gen I-II Vipers are very special cars in our generation of American Muscle car history. I am curious to see the trend in the next couple of years. The Gen V may mix things up...
Thank you so much for sharing the data John Bennett! I knew I wasn't going crazy in thinking that KBB had a few thousand jump in value for the GenII snakes.
It is encouraging to see how quickly the value jumps when the Viper is not in production. I guess after 2018 (guessing that is the...
I have been calmly looking for a Viper and it seems that the Gen II value and sell prices are climbing. Even KBB seems to reflect this. A nice gen II and early gen III have seem to have the same value.
I wonder if Gen II's hit their bottom dollar last year, and are now on the up swing in...
As others have said, I hope the Gen V curves, sex appeal and aggresivness can be comparable to the Ferrari Italia 458...except meatier like America likes!
I have been looking at various years of Vipers for sale on Ebay, and it honestly seems that there is not a big price difference between the Gen 2s and Gen 3s. There is often maybe only a $10k diff with some Gen 2s vs Gen 4s. Yes, I am comparing well maintained cars with reasonable miles...
You say the ACR cars are selling for no less thant $40k. I have seen most CLEAN Gen II Vipers sell from $36k - $48k recently. I have to be honest, I know that was the asking price....can't confirm the sale price.
I will use a few ebay vipers as current examples:
Dodge : Viper: eBay...
Well said 1BG.
I agree in regards to pricing of the Gen V. I think Dodge has wiggle room (in regards to build cost vs asking MSRP) to improve the interior quality and the other requested upgrades. Yes, more money will go into making the Gen V Viper; however the increased production cost...
Great job with the Photo Shop!! The Gen V WILL be a more civilized beast, but will of course be the most powerful yet. I think this is a wise decision by Dodge to keep balance with the times.
The only thing with the pic is that Vipers must have a phat a$$!! The back of that Ferrari has...
The Gen IV "WILL" sell for $45k one day; however, I did not see the OP make that claim. If you want to speak about credibility, a more accurate price for a Viper crate motor is ~$25k.
OP quote:
I saw that 06 on ebay, and was also shocked it wasn't snapped up!! From what I have seen, I would guess that Vipers average bottom is around $35k. I must be honest, I would love to snag a gen II at $25k; however, as most would say, you get what you pay for. There are some exceptions where...
Thanks, but currently if you go to the VOI classifieds and look at the 99 Snakes....they average an asking price of $50k. I know....that is the asking price, and they are not sold yet.
I think I know which 99 you are referring to. It was a 99 that has had several owners and the tan...
Haha. You guys have made some GREAT points!! Very well said jjp11. I AM that guy too....who graduated from High School in '97, loved cars, and saw the Gen 1/2 Viper as the epitome of American muscle in our generation. I too studied hard and thought of an exotic car as my motivation.
