The only enduro I see on schedule for Thursday is the 6-hr one starting at 3pm ending at 9pm. I plan to arrive in Sebring Wednesday night. Looking forward to seeing the ACR-X in person.

In order to help offset the costs I would have to sell one of the current Vipers and I am having trouble deciding which one to sell. In addition, I am not sure what I would do with my World Challenge spec SRT-4, it would require major changes for Bryn to be able to drive. During the past year I...
06 Viper Coupe - Comp Coupe aero - suspension - hoosiers - that is all I can remember. The owner is now driving a race prepped 08 ACR.
Bryn and I will be attending Sebring. Looking forward to the new year with Dodge and Viper Days.

I prefer the PS2 over the PSC(pilot sport cup) on the street. I had problems keeping the PSC warm as slow traffic causes the tire to cool quickly, resulting in excessive wheel hop. I have not had the same problem with the PS2 tires. On the track is where the PSC tire shines.

Problems I see are - R6 will heat cycle out quickly, they are likely to puncture on the street, and they are dangerous in the rain on concrete. I was stunned at Sebring when I went from asphalt to concrete how much different the R6s felt in the rain. You best street and track tire is the Cup in...
Those are not street legal, they are VRL (Viper Racing League) spec full slicks. Hoosier does make a street legal R6, but I would not recommend driving them on the street. I prefer the PS2 tires over the Sport Cups for the street, then I switch to Hoosier R6s for the track. I have trouble...
Yeah I never could get the courage to run flat out, I think my car could reach 155 to 160 mph driving closer to 8/10ths. I am was really impressed how well the Vipers did in the sprint races, they were great fun to watch.

Here is a quick video I made from this weekend:

Had a great time and look forward to Sebring in January

If you are running 08/09 stock shocks and non-run flat tires then I would expect your street ride would already be good. If you are running older shocks, i.e. 03-06 then you might also try updating to 08/09 shocks at an even lower price. Many of us take them off to install Motons.

I have never ridden in a KW equipped car that rode better (read smoother) than stock. I have extensively driven both SRT-4's and Vipers with KW, Moton, and stock shocks. Although KW shocks do seem capable of posting good track times I would not change to them for improved ride unless your stock...
Since I own an 09 ACR, I have experience with the ACR wheel(Speedline), and knowing how many variables OEMs test for I can easily recommend this wheel. Also owning the 08 SSG I have a set of PS2 tires, so I can say they are a better street tire. In fact, the Sport Cup is a poor street tire in my...
