    Sebring Jan -13-17th

    06 Viper Coupe - Comp Coupe aero - suspension - hoosiers - that is all I can remember. The owner is now driving a race prepped 08 ACR. Bryn and I will be attending Sebring. Looking forward to the new year with Dodge and Viper Days. -David

    PS2 or Sport cups

    I prefer the PS2 over the PSC(pilot sport cup) on the street. I had problems keeping the PSC warm as slow traffic causes the tire to cool quickly, resulting in excessive wheel hop. I have not had the same problem with the PS2 tires. On the track is where the PSC tire shines. -David

    Problems I see are - R6 will heat cycle out quickly, they are likely to puncture on the street, and they are dangerous in the rain on concrete.     Those are not street legal, they are VRL (Viper Racing League) spec full slicks. Hoosier does make a street legal R6, but I would not recommend driving them on the street. I prefer the PS2 tires over the Sport Cups for the street, then I switch to Hoosier R6s for the track. I have trouble...

    Viper Days Finals are at Daytona International Speedway!

    Yeah I never could get the courage to run flat out, I think my car could reach 155 to 160 mph driving closer to 8/10ths. I am was really impressed how well the Vipers did in the sprint races, they were great fun to watch. -David

    Attention KW V2 owners

    If you are running 08/09 stock shocks and non-run flat tires then I would expect your street ride would already be good. If you are running older shocks, i.e. 03-06 then you might also try updating to 08/09 shocks at an even lower price. Many of us take them off to install Motons. -David
