It will be interesting to see if someone runs the Gen V on MPSCs. I've felt like we'd take a hit with the tire, and it appears we did, and why shouldn't we have?
That's a good tape job... I need to get my act together.
I only have to relieve the pressure on the direct lift... so about 1", though in reality if you try you can release it sooner.
If the switch stuck, you might have a few seconds to yank the cord. 110s move fairly slowly, probably takes 2...
The is a reason the 71 is on top...
I use a piece of tape to mark the normal stopping point. Just hold the button down until it gets there. I do worry about daydreaming...
While it might be possible to jam two cars in there, I'd be worried about the lack of cushion. I have 122" and it is very workable. I have the bottom of the rails at 60" today, far more than I need for the Viper, as 48" is quite doable. The extra height is for ducking under the lift easier...
I'm going to say ZR1.
Why? Reading between the lines, Ralph's recent comments about the Pirellis' was qualified praise.
So the test I want to see is a Gen V vs Gen 5 with PSC.
We have a good tire, we don't have the best tire.
I use my iPhone
There are apps that just video the last 30 minutes and only save it if you ask it to or if there is an accident.

Sad story on that black '08
A club member was trailering it back from VOI when it caught fire. Maybe the brakes were dragging? I don't know... I also don't know how it was being towed.
His car was a black 08 coupe with red stripes. If anyone has one for sale let me know and I'll pass...
Thanks, that is right, it was introduced with the Gen III, so no help to the OP.
Even if you could get the battery to last the down time with enough to start the car, you are still taxing the battery and shortening its life. Battery save mode gets you a few more weeks, but for extended periods...
Battery save mode
Key in ignition, turn to ACC (towards you) and back 4 times, then hit the power lock up button. The horn will chirp, and you're in battery save mode until the next time you run the car.
Seems close enough to me.
There is a certain stress working with an out of state seller that you have avoided and there is something to say about having a local guy you can go to.
I think it is a safety issue if your window stops working. Not sure if NHTSA would see it that way or not.
What ugly things can happen when these things fail?
Is NHTSA set up to react to such a low volume car, where 100 complaints would be 3-4% of the owners!
Check out the recent sales...
These results are skewed by options (ACR, Aero) and condition (Salvage) Still, you can look through it and get a better idea of the true market for your car at retail...
10 years ago I had some sort of rodent do a number on a pickup wiring harness. To the tune of $900.
A week later the bugger came back and ate the fuel line. Truck was running rough as it was bleeding out fuel by the gallons. :omg:
If all you have is nesting and a mess to clean up count...
My '08 cost me $2270 in property tax this year. KBB of $58k.
My other 4 vehicles all combined didn't cost that.
I made the mistake of asking the wife to pay the bill. :smirk:
20 over is reckless in Virginia.
However, ANYTHING over 80 is also reckless, so that sweet 70 MPH speed limit on I81 does not get you 90 without reckless. 81 is reckless on I81.
Mine had 1200... here is what to expect.
No paint chips upfront, but even at this low mileage possible at the rockers.
Underside of the front may have a single scrap, Maybe perfect
Likely clear protective plastic film on the pedals
Tire gauge will show no wear, date codes on tires till map to...

"Ryan Hunter-Reay, 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series champion, and Jonathan Bomarito will make their debut in the SRT Viper GTS-R at Road Atlanta. "
I don't feel like the lag is all that great on the Gen IV.... that being said, the Gen V is better.
However..... I thought the tac was lagging slightly. Maybe one of those things they are ironing out.
The car is amazing. Steering is more responsive, the gearbox is less military dockyard...
