    +1 for sure. You will just get yanked around by that dealer. There are just a few of the bigger Viper dealers that will work out a better deal with you in regard to your trade-in. Your best bet is to go private with the Z06. You will find your 08 ACR out there, it just takes some time. Good Luck.

    Downshifting?

    That is correct. The springs will always re-center (in neutral) to the center of the shift pattern. Just last month I was explaining this to my son when I was out in the car with him. Talk about learning how to drive a manual transmission in a car with this much power(LOL). :drive:

    Again, it's fairly obvious that Dodge does not want to take ownership of this design flaw/disconnect. Perhaps a method of selling more extended warranties? This part is way too prone to failure, IMO.
