Hey Synful,
I just ordered the trim from Mcmaster-Carr www.mcmaster.com
I ordered this part number 24175k45
It is practically the same as the one I had from Roe. (I tried to find it on Roe's site...but couldn't find it. So after some searching found it on Mcmaster)
I will likely...
Yo Camfab !!!
Congratulations on a job extremely well done !!!!!
You BETTER come out and play on 8/11. The SoCal group is planning a run either in Malibu or Ojai. Details to come.
Lance
Hey Yogibayer,
That screw is 1" long on mine.
I actually went and replaced all those screws with stainless steel #10 x 1" machine screws. I ordered them at mcmaster-carr www.mcmaster.com
I also changed out all the side sill screws. I followed the Illustrated upgrades section and used...
Send a PM to Dave aka Racecars
or check his site www.davesbigbrakes.com
I know he has a roll bar that bolts in, does not interfere with rear vision and looks great.
Lance
I know Dave aka Racecars will be responding to this very shortly....
but in the meantime check his site www.davesbigbrakes.com
He now has a kit that allows you to put SRT calipers on all 4 AND use your stock wheels !!!
Camfab,
Man, if I had known you were going through all this, I would have gladly precision balanced any of the rotating components for you.
Are you still on track for this Sat?
Lance
Thanks for the comments Eagles.
I'm glad to see that Dave has already answered your questions.
On another note....Will you be attending the Hearst Castle run in late October?
Hey 93Cobra,
Glad to hear you are up and running. Hopefully I'll get to check it out before you SELL it and BUY another one!! This coming Sat, the club has an outing. You want to go?
Lance
I decided to do the oil pan baffle upgrade in preparation for some upcoming track events.
The oil pan baffle prevents engine oil starvation by keeping the oil in the center of the pan where the oil pickup is.
Without the swinging baffle gates installed in the pan, the oil is free to flow from...
Even Money Bet....
You'll see Dave all the time in his SRT10..... you will never see his wife, and after a while you'll begin to doubt that he is even married !!! :D
I'm glad it worked. It will definitely save the center console from cracking further.
Luckily it doesn't have to look pretty as no one will ever see it.
I'm in the process of creating a "wedge" that will fit underneath the center console.
Should have one done in the next week or so...
Skip Thomas and his Viper Days crew are FIRST CLASS.
The entire experience is something that you will never forget and they really do a great job organizing every last detail. You won't be disappointed.
You will learn how to drive and control your Viper in a relatively controlled venue and...
Hey Bat,
That is awesome!!! Can't wait to see the final product.....especially now .... knowing the STAR!
My kids are gonna want your autograph for sures.
Lance
Hey MoparMan,
Glad you will be joining us ! From what I'm hearing, it will be a very LARGE gathering of Vipers ! Our club President has put a tremendous amount of work into this event and I'm sure that it will be a huge success.
If you haven't already, make sure you make your hotel...
Thanks for the link! I am actually working with a guy to do something like this.... I should have a pretty good idea as to the feasibility for the "support wedge" in a week or so.
Secondly, Thanks for everyone's comments and efforts to put this in the illustrated upgrades, although that...
