That is typical for the GTS. The rear spoiler or lip creates an eddie current or vacuum across the rear fascia.
What you need to look for is how water is getting into the car.
I know that you said the heater is working fine but the heater core could have developed a small leak. It doesn't...
Good job, Mopar Boy!
Did you do this all by yourself?
How long did it take?
How much did it cost you?
How much force is necessary to unseat and reset the bearing caps? I have access to a 10ton Arbor Press. Will that do it?
Here is a RT10 painted burnt orange. One of the members painted his GTS in a beautiful shade of orange and the car looks fabulous. I can't find the picture right now...
Thanks for description. It was what I was alluding too. The motorcycle was mostly aluminum, with a steel or chrome-moly frame. Not enough ferrous metal to force current through the inductive loop.
I assume that this is the problem with the Viper as well. If the sensitivity or trigger current...
I found a couple of places that don't trigger the same when driving my Viper vs my other cars. These were also the same places that never saw (electrically) my 500lb motorcycle. My guess is the system sensitivity is incorrectly adjusted.

One of my coworkers was singing praises of this product to me just last week. She liked it so much she was going to buy me a bottle. I don't remember for how long it last and will ask her tomorrow.
Okay, I checked and found that I remembered correctly. 3 White with Blue Striped GTS's were made in 1996. They went to Tom Gale, Francois Castaing and Sandy Emerling according to page 130 of Maurice Liang's Viper Buyers Guide.
I can't remember the number but 2 or 3 White with Blue Stripes GTS's were made in 96. I believe they were made for Chrysler Execs. Somebody, will most likely post the correct info shortly.
Since the last one was in SLC, which is considered by most to be out west though it is a 12 hour drive east of us and the previous one was held up north in Detroit, you are probably going to see the next one held in the south (Texas) or south east, (Virginia or Tennessee )or at least somewhere...
John, Congrats on getting your first Viper.. While it's not the Blue and White GTS that you were looking for, that Saphire ACR will certainly do! Now that you are no longer the President of Mopar Alley, you can give Maurice a break and run for Nor Cal VCA President.
About the VOI in...
Just thinking about getting from Laguna Seca (Monterey) to Infineon Raceway and back in the same day would be rough. Without traffic that would be a 2-3 hour drive each way. To make it worth while you would almost need to split the venues for the event. Three days on the coast in the Monterey...
Hi Nick, I found interesting signatures on my car as well...

You might want to order intake gaskets as well since you will have to remove the intake manifold to replace the Thermostat. Some say they are reusable if you are careful, others (the Wizard himself) say to replace them.
Check out the illustrated section to see a how to guide.
Good luck!
If I read this correctly, you need to find the leak and fix that. The car will overheat if the system is not pressurized.
Since you have already replaced the radiator cap, Check your hoses for cracks or splits.
Check that the clamps are tight.
If you have a leak, when the car heats up...
Hello Ghoust,
Sorry, Haven't been on the forum much lately. We have our first meeting of the year coming up on the 1st Tuesday of February.
The Calendar for the NorCal region has not been updated yet. Not sure why....
Northern California VCA
Not sure what the cause is... just thinking aloud, the smoke seems to be oil due to the blue color. If the smoke was black, I would say unburnt fuel.
If the smoke was continuous for the entire deceleration, I would think it could be the rings but it is only a short period at lift off.
So, it...
Even with the weight of the wheels with the car being supported by the front lower cross member, I had a heck of a time moving the upper cross member out of the way to replace the water pump. Never did get it fully out the car.
I feel your pain Mark!
Not sure is this is your problem or not....recently, my battery drained down. When I went to open the door, neither one would work. Luckily, I had the windows down and was able to get in the car. I charged the battery back up and was able to start the car but the neither door button worked. I...
