Tire Pressure Pilot Super Sports
29 it is. I got mine at Discount Tire , and they put the higher pressure in them and they felt like the proverbial "dump truck." These are some sticky tires. They really hook. Thanks guys.- Solid Red 98

Tire Pressure Pilot Super Sports
I just got a new set of Pilot Super Sports on 19's. I was wondering what pressure those of you that have them are running. 29 has always been magic, but the shop that installed them recommended more. I don't track the car, so I am interested in a street setup.- Solid Red 98

Lighter and quicker than the current outgoing ACR

Yes, the gt2 has quite a large wing and a decent sized front splitter, but they are no where near the size of the acr's and definitely don't generate anywhere near the downforce of the acr. Lighter and quicker than the current outgoing ACR
The zr1 ran nurb in 7:19 and the porsche gt2 rs ran it in 7:18. Both cars do not have crazy wings and don't produce a whole lot of down force, so it's not hard to believe that the new gen v, with the track pack, will be that far off the 7:12 time of the outgoing acr. Window Regulator Shuttles

Oil Leak Gremlin!
I had the same leak on my 98 GTS. After chasing it for a while, I took it to Valaya racing for evaluation. They determined that it was the timing cover gasket. Help! Idle drops low when stopped, occasionally dies.
This is going to sound odd and possibly unrelated, but how does your temperature gauge behave? I had various idle issues, most notably, idle hang. Tried a lot of the things mentioned above. Engine Heat Dissipation
Yeah, I guess they would address this issue. It really is amazing how much heat is generated by these V10's. It is definitely the hottest running modern motor I have ever seen, in terms of radiant waste heat. It almost reminds me of my mom's old '58 Lincoln. :lmao:- Solid Red 98

'00 GTS, sometimes revs high at idle. Thoughts?
This may sound weird, but I tried all of the above, and it still came back intermittently. I also had periodic high temperature readings that didn't seem to make sense.
