Green filters *Warning, they dont fit*

Go with the K&N's. I think the seal on them is slightly larger (wider or taller) than stock, but for your CF airbox, it fits fine. That CF airbox was probably designed around the K&N. Go with what works for your application.

Green filters *Warning, they dont fit*

Your aftermarket carbon fiber airbox must be slightly larger than stock. If I remember correctly, a few owners had fitment problems with the K&N's on the stock boxes, something to do with the clips, perhaps because the seal on the K&N is larger than stock. I think the Green's were slightly...

Can't see 'em, red "x"s. Try right clickling on the image first, copy the link where its says properties, not from the top address window. The link should end with a ".jpg"

Green filters *Warning, they dont fit*

I wonder if the wrong part was packed in the correctly labeled box. Maybe their packaging dept screwed up? Part revision w/o the tabs?

Green filters *Warning, they dont fit*

The part numbers are correct. Did the filters come in sealed clear plastic? Mine did. I don't know if my pics will still pull up from Imagestation, but here it goes, if you see red "x" then linky no worky...

Green filters *Warning, they dont fit*

That's strange. I have the Green Filters on my '02 GTS and they fit fine. To first get them to fit just right, I cut those little tabs to whatever length.

    2002 GTS (sub-500 mile) question

That motor isn't even broken in. I would be most concerned if the gas is still fresh. Had the previous owner added Sta-bil or a fuel injector cleaner in the tank every once in awhile? Old stale gas is not good. Ditto on the oil changes, coolant and brake fluid. Good luck with the buy.

Does A Clay Bar Scratch The Clear Coat???

Use a detail spray and fold the bar over occasionally. If you drop it on the ground, toss it away and grab a new one. Any dirt on the bar will render it useless. One bar should be able to do 3-4 cars. Video instructions >>> www.adamspolishes.com/videos/clay_bar.cfm

    Adam's Detail Spray

Re: Adam\'s Detail Spray Adam's has great stuff, I like 'em. The polish and wax leaves a great shine, as good as anything I've used before without all the fuss. The detail spray is the best, has a sweet bubble gum scent and gives a great shine for between washes. Even if you prefer other...

    Show me your lift..

I forgot to add one more thing, the garage door rails I didn't bother modifying the tracks to go higher, yet. What I did for now, was to turn the set-screw on the garage door lift motor so that the door would stop about a foot from maximum. This gives me enough clearance so that the garage...

    Show me your lift..

I agree, go with 11 feet (or 132") if you're reconstructing the garage, the taller, the better. My ceiling is relatively low for having a lift, 112" (9'-4"), not counting a structural beam that transverses across the center and part of the second floor stairway that cuts in an angle towards...

    Anyone's heater not work?

Re: Anyone\'s heater not work? First, congratulations on the purchase and welcome! Next thing, did you also turn the right control knob over toward the right side heater functions (foot, foot/defrost and defrost)? If you turn to the left, it has vent (but no heat) and AC.

    Gutting the rear muffler

The muffler is also double-walled. If you cut one up just to take out the fiberglass packing and replace the perforated pipes with smooth straight pipes or X-over, be sure to weld back the double-walled skins carefully. A buzzing sound like "muffler bearings" rattling around might occur. Then...

Should I purge the cooing system on a 02 GTS???

Yes, purge the trapped air. If you don’t purge the air on the upper hose, the coolant cannot circulate, and the block temp will quickly get hot (your temp guage will show). Sorry to hear the upper hose blew. The illustrated guide applies to all Gen II's.
