I just bought a slightly used 1" seat lowering kit for my Gen 2. It's similar to the one on the Snake Oyl website (maybe by Northwind?). There doesn't appear to be a lot to it but if someone can help me out with a scan of the instructions or pic I'd appreciate it? Thanks

I just had some of my ball joint boots replaced. It seems the old ones might have cracked due to extreme heat from my track events. I'd like to keep it from happening again but the store-bought protectors are kind of expensive. Has anyone made their own? It seems there are a lot of materials...
I'm a little confused here. Was the trailer insured by the insurance company and now they are not covering? Or did you assume you had coverage as part of your basic auto coverage? When I bought my trailer the first thing I did was call my insurer to let them know. I pay about $100/yr for...
I use the EBC sport drilled/slotted rotors with Brakeman 3's. I thought they used to hold up pretty well. Now that I've gotten faster and am harder on the brakes I get about one weekend out of my front rotors before they start cracking. The rears last a little longer. Once I use up my...
Good Luck guys, I wish I could join you. Just a couple of tips for any first timers:
Brake in a straight line. If you brake hard and turn you'll spin (not that there's anything wrong with that) ;)
Tire pressures: I like to start with my PS2's cold at 29 or 30 all the way around;
Half a tank...
The guy with the new ACR was Seth Palatnik. I heard the car was handling great but he ended up having some tire issues and didn't last the weekend.
Both Ben Keating and Jim Stout beat the previous VRL track record by almost 2 seconds.
Putnam is an awesome track!
Wish I could join you guys. I'm selling raffle tickets for Cardinals Care at the Cards game that afternoon. Maybe I'll win Pujols' jersey (and it'll be clean). Of all days to have a late start. Have fun.
There's no coolant requirement at Putnam Park. A new set of pads will be plenty for one day. Putnam is pretty easy on the brakes with the exception of a turn or two.
Warning: Putnam is where I got hooked on Viper Days!
Have fun

I don't have many yellow GTS's. I probably have 8 or 9 of the yellow w/ white stripe HW GTSR's (look more like a comp coupe).
And then I have 15 - 20 HW and Matchbox RT/10's ($2ea). Matchbox also made a yellow RT/10 for the CA VCA group - I have 10 of those ($5ea).

I have 100 or so extra GTS's that I'd be willing to part with. They are a mixture of Matchbox and Hot Wheels. I went the ebay route so I had to pay shipping to get them so I'd need to average about $2 each to break even. I have extras in the Racing Champions and Johnny Lightning brands too...
I've had a lot of bad transactions as a buyer on Ebay and lots of experience with the Paypal resolution process. The resolution process is not as much help as you might think. Even if Paypal rules in the buyer's favor (i.e. seller misrepresentation, poor packing, etc.) the buyer needs to send...
I had the same triple-chirp after I installed my racing harnesses. Apparently, when I reconnected the glove box switch the connection wasn't quite being made between the switch and the wire. There is a little c-clip that needs to be completely engaged. Good Luck.
From another thread in the Tires section, I would agree that "C1" seems to be the key identifier. Are you going with PS2's all around or just the front? I can't seem to find out if Pilot Sports are available in my (stock) size - I know Tire Rack doesn't have them. I may be going with PS2's as...
I went to the Tire Rack website and no Michelins are available for my '02. Does Michelin no longer make a tire in the stock sizes? I like the Pilot Sports but the sizes I want aren't available. I'm looking for help on listing my options. Thanks in advance.
I have an '02 GTS and use the EBC Sport rotors with Brakeman #3 pads. I've never had an issue with this combination at the many ViperDays events I've attended. If you're wanting to upgrade for performance reasons you may want to upgrade your fluid as well. I use Motul RBF 600. One thing I...
Boy, that's the setup on my '02! That's a sweet offer - it almost makes the drive from St. Louis to Chicago worth it. I'm sure someone from Chicago will take you up on it. But in case they don't, do you know anyone from your area going to Viper Days at MAM this weekend? I think there are a...
I ran across this one recently and bought it for $50 thinking someone on here might want it. It has a few issues. Most noticeably are the paint bubbles on the rear deck. There are a few others on the side sills which aren't as noticeable and a few on the driver's side tail light. Also there is...
