I Agree with you and Alexarz, There seems to be alot of Sour Grapes over the ACR destroying everything else at the "Ring". SRT said from the beginning that the ACR would beat the ZR1 and it did. SRT should be commended for bringing us the 08 Viper and the ACR.
Not sure how the GTR won. After reading the article they should have just said the ACR is "Pure Badass" and left it at that. Its fastest 0-60, Fastest through the lane change pulls 1.08G and "Destroys" everything on a road course. It also brakes the best. I look forward to a track comparo with...
It seems the Red/Black ACR's will mostly be built last. The question is do the ACR's get built all together or scattered throughout production, My guess is scattered.
Who cares what it does at the "Ring". I want to see the ZR1 and the ACR run head to head on some US tracks for some Mag articles then we will see who is faster, I'm hoping its the ACR.
I haven't seen any testing between the ACR and the ZR1 but it can't be far away. Alot of people really want to see these two face off, It should be interesting.
Actually the way they leave the showroom floor is how they should be tested along with equall drivers and same day testing on the same track. If the ZR's tires aren't good enough then Chevy should have put better tires on it from the factory. SRT stated from the beginning that they knew the ZR1...
Theres really no point in Arguing which car is better looking or will attract the most attention its "Hands Down" the ACR. Also remember in 3 years there will be a C7 and the ZR1 will be a "Dinosaur" no matter how much power it has. Its unfortunate that Chevy didn't really go all out on the body...
