Went to the Auto show last night. No Vipers, not one. Also, no Dodge Demon concept. Did have the FirePower concept which was very cool. Kind of cross between a GTS and an Aston Martin.
Certainly would of liked to see the 08 Viper in the flesh.
Brandon, If you don't mind driving down to the Columbus area, here are a couple choices:
Nelson Auto Group in Marysville. Viper/Lambo and other high end dealer. They certainly can handle it. Kernie McEldowny is the Viper tech.
Auto Assets in Powell. Mostly a Porsche tune shop. They...
You bought a second set? Good for you. I bid on a set that was on Ebay recently. Someone hit buy it now and got the set for $999. which, IMO, was a steal. My guess is that the McViper wheels will go for far more than they can be bought for now... some day.
If no one comes up with the...
Re: !
Manual for my 01 recommends Champion RC 12 LYC, .035 in. gap.
Specs for the 1992 Viper that started it all are exactly the same.
So, in 15 years spark plug technology hasn't come up with anything better? I certainly trust the opinions of Jon B., Chuck B. and Chuck T. (wizard). They...
My .02
1. A "responsible" car collector and one that truly enjoys cars (vs. bragging rights or as an investment) will drive each car about 500 miles per year. To enjoy the car and to keep everything mechanical moving, lubricated etc. The older a car gets with next to no miles on it, the more...
As I was scrolling through the pix, I started asking myself where are the S7's? Then, they showed up. Very nice. How well are the Saleen S7's selling? Anyone have any idea? What's he making, like 50/year?
Beautiful pix, nice camera.
Nope, haven't seen the new ones yet. I've been looking. Just a matter of time I suppose, they seem to slowly leak out their production over a period of months. I still see the original OBR 1:64 pop up here and there.
Was out looking for Viper diecast today and couldn't resist this:
Not every day you see a pimped out Ford GT. I thought it was cool looking so I bought it.
Oh yeah, this is the Viper forum isn't it, so... how about some Vipers!

Noticed this on Ebay. Kind of cool custom.

Still wish ANY manufacturer made a 1:18 Gen II RT/10.
Not only is that thing horrid, but built on an 84 Vette. 1984 was the first year of the gen (c4?) and riddled with problems.
I'm sure the "kit" runs like a top. :D
With 600 NA HP, DCX has hit the mark for the latest Viper. If styling could be a little more CC like, it would be the total package. Lowering the stance would go a long way towards that end. While I won't sell my Gen II, I will probably buy an 08/09.
Lower the car and bring back an ACR...
From the link above, re: EBC Reds:
"They deliver strong stopping power, but still emit far less dust than OEM factory pads. In fact, Redstuff now offers the LEAST amount of dust possible in all the EBC ranges."
I went to three Wal-Marts yesterday looking for these. First one, nothing. No display at all. Second one, had the display and it was mostly full, probably just put it out. Two Vipers, both with the green stripe.
Third Wal-Mart had no special display but I did notice a single car (non-Viper)...
