Update 10 March 2008.
I found some new doubles that I'm ready to sell.
Make me an offer I can't refuse, If intrested send me a PM.
(I'm still in doubt to sell some because I have different decalsheets for them..... so your offer has to pursuade me)
Nice AutoArts!
I made some pictures myself...
I wanna have it!!!!!!!!
Very very nice Chris.
Did you build that hardtop from wood?
If you make a nice one as a base, I think it would be possible to make a mold to make some more in the future..... with resin from 2 component wood.
Nice lesson in strenght/construction technology.
This is exactly why I posted my concerns earlier.
When you make a hole in something, it weakens the strength because of the hole.... there is a bolt pattern check because of this in the Netherlands.
But..... I wasn't good in Maths so I decided...
Thats weird indeed.....
When I first wrote my Viperstory I went to Google and typed Viper... this is what turned up, or wich I liked most.
Since then I "borrowed" it to use it as the icon of my dreamcar!
Nice to know it was probably yours!
Updating time again!!!,
This time a relatively unknown Viper. And by looking from abouve, maybe somewhat less attractive livery on a Viper.
It´s the Viper from the Italian Racing Box team from the year 2000.
Racing Box drove this car in Fia GT and Belcar championships in 2000.
This model is...
Nice,
I studied construction a long time ago and I wonder what this would mean to the strenght of the rim.
Does a rim have so much extra material that can be machined out and still be able to take the force on it?
@488cv10 I'll send you a PM, intrested very much in Rapid prototyping!
There are always dishonest people around.... but in my ebay transactions (over 110) I only met one once.
Ebay has the Feedbackforum to show the experiences for past buyers. If you buy from a seller with 98% positive feedback you're almost always certain you're dealing with a honest seller.
If...
After adding another fine scalemodel to my collection I started thinking about the GTS/R development again.
If you look at these pictures you see 2 GTS/R models as runned by Larbre Competition at 24H of Spa in 2001.
Why does one car have an exhaust in the middle and the other to the back of...
That's something you can forget about....
A 200 euro model would be a normal AutoArt donormodel rebuilt with a different color and decalsheet.
For a completely overhauled model you'd have to think around 700-900 euro I guess (or maybe even more).
Than for the gen 1 1.5 and 2..... Don't think...
If I ask.... they can make anything, but it would cost a LOT of money.
Asked a guy once.... he told me it would cost something like € 200,- to get a GTS/R to be made in 1:18.
Unfortunatly I don´t have the money or the space to put them in......
Also.... hard to pick a nice livery.
No one...
Any normal 1:43 GTS/R can be used, but be advised...... Minichamps is a whole lot more expensive!
The number 17 isn´t right at the exhaust.... 7 should be.
All depends on the price paid.....
I had the number 17 made from the number 7, lot easier.... and always the right colors!
Another update
Quite some time ago I found a modelbuilder to make the models of my dreams....
So after sending a lot of emails the first models were ready to be put into my display.
The year is 2001, we´re in the middle of the Viper era. No race in wich the Viper competed was ended besides...
Thanks, I will.
Willem, didn´t got the mail.... I was away on holiday to Mexico so I might missed something.
Don´t guess anymore...... I´m looking to produce some Gen 1,5´s and FE´s with proper wheels.
Keep you posted!
For a new project I´m looking for a 3D design from different Viper wheels.
Does anyone have a AutoCad or other 3D drawing of the following wheels:
Gen 2 Viper
Or a picture of this rims on the car.
And a 3d Design of the old standard 5 spoke GTS rim.
I´m trying to get diecast...

I can't spot any autographs on the model....
The box has, but they are preprinted.... so nothing special there.
The model is OK BTW....
I might be able to help you out with the cracked windshield problem. Got some good contacts at AutoArt.
No, I think almost all JRL-Anson Vipers have the same..... I got some models with wrong direction E Brakes before....
Only thing is, should I repair this or leave it original?
Last night, I went to get some pictures on the complete family of 1:12's....
Took me a while to get it right, but I got them together.
I took pictures using my new Sony digital videocamera (DCR-SR290E) it makes pictures at 6.1 MP!
But, a normal digital camera performes better with inside...
I found the last "normal" 1:12 that I was still missing.... and I bought it.
So from now, only chrome ,Pace Cars and Standox are failing.
Anyone selling it... please send me a PM!
Wow, this is something truly stunning!!!!
The other day I read a newsfact on Autoblog saying yelloh attracts more women...
And if you look at Chad with only his yelloh weels, the women he meets...... ;)
You could only imagine what a yelloh Street Serpent will do.:2tu::2tu:
Great job...
