Hey Joe,
I have a stock bra for my 94 and have used it a number of times including track days and have had no paint issues on my Red snake....
Just thought you may want to know...
Cheers,
I guess you guys are better them I am, but there is no way I could watch a Nav screen or TV when driving my snake.....I just dont think I would want to be that distracted.......Now in my daily driver is another thing...no problem.....but the snake........
just my 2 cents
Cheers,
Thanks Mr. Geek for the great idea.
I hate the way the pedals on our Gen 1's line up...
My concern is the "weak" pedal assy. the Gen 1's have..
I know the bushings go bad alot and sometimes the whole shaft needs to be replaced...
Is your creation going to put too much stress on that assy.?
Just...
I am in the market for a lift soon. This one looks pretty good, but I am leaning towards the Revolution Lift. They can be had for $3000.00 and include some of the items that Autolifters charges extra for.
Also the Revolution lift is made by Rotary which is a well known auto lift company. I have...
Wow,
This sounds like exactly what I want....
Looks like you will remove the pad and replace it with something that will look good and be able to receive the new top.
Jeff,
What kind of time frame are we looking at until they are ready?...
Also it is nice to know Biff is involved with...
FYI
45k on my stock orig clutch.....still grabs fine....
I think I would spend the $300.00 while I had it out, but dont worry about needing another one in a few k miles...unless you beat the he11 out of it...
Cheers,
That looks awesome!!!......I would also like to see one without the scoop for the total smooth look...
Maybe someone can photoshop it painted, with and without scoop....
Cheers,
Tom,
I was thinking of doing that exact thing, but was worried that something bad might happen, like a throttle sticking for some reason....
Have you actually done this to your snake, If so, how does it work?
Cheers,
Hey Red,
I thought I was the only Viper guy that has ever had a Cortina...
I used to have a 68 Mark 2 GT, and I just bought a 69 Mk 2 GT,
I love those things.....
Cheers,
Other Mopars before my Viper:
68 Road Runner 383 4 spd
71 Road Runner 383 Auto
73 Road Runner 318 Auto (still owned...since new)
74 Road Runner 360 Auto
(I guess I'm kinda wierd for Road Runners)
Cheers,
Jim,
I am with you brother...
I am in the process of designing my new garage..It will be a 2-car with some extra width and length, as well as a 12 ft ceiling height to allow for a Revolution lift ...
I use my garage as a place to store AND work on my rides (94 RT/10, 73 Road Runner, 63 VW, 69...
Here is my 2 cents...
Ive had my snake (Gen 1) for 5 years, and for myself I wouldnt use it as a daily driver.
Not that it hasnt been bullet proof, (hardly any issues after 30k miles) but for some of the reasons stated on this thread allready.
One is the general abuse most cars get while...
Achilles,
Were your brakes cold???
I have noticed that the first few stops arent the best when the pads are cold....I forgot to mention that in my previous post.....
I always try to tell myself "cold tires/cold brakes" when i first go out in my snake....I got surprised a couple times and had to...
Hello,
I installed greens on the front of my snake and new rotors at the same time...No squeak...maybe a little less dust, but still enough dust that after a few hours on the road the wheels need to be cleaned.
I havent used them on the track yet, but on the street they seem to stop fine. Also I...
Same back at ya....
I love the ride from Parker Az. across Rice Road over the woop de doos @ 125.
You are nearby....I live in Rosemead and was driving my snake in La Verne last Sat.
Cheers
