Congrats on the time. I can't wait to hit 10's....I'm almost there(I've got the power for it).
I just need tires. If we ever meet up, we'd have to run your S/C SRT vs my N/A GTS. I bet it would make for one hell of a vid :D
Fast Matt. I have a much smaller cam than you...and make about 565rwhp 610rwtq. I've have run many 600cc GSX-R's and R6's. In a roll-on (on a track mind you) I've always pulled them easily.
I haven't ran a 1,000cc bike yet but I'm looking forward to it. Good number and enjoy that...
If I was in Chi-Town...I'd show you some GenII tail lights. :drive:
I have to take it easy so I don't hit that 11.5 mark :D
The quickest and fastest Vipers are STILL GenII's
:2tu: :headbang: :lmao:
Hand-Built, that is why Vipers "FEEL" special, that really is the X-factor. This is why a Ferrari feels so special as well. A hand built sports car is like nothing else on earth. You can not know what that means until you have driven one.
You'll have to check your dyno sheet for that. You'll want match the mph with the rpm @ max hp. You could make max power at 5700rpm or 6200rpm. Depends on the tune and mods.
Trans go with G-force or RPM both are great. Also get the 5th and 6th gears changed out for shorter ratios.
Gears keep the stock ones, or get 3.33 Too short of a gear and you'll burn through them faster than you can shift.
Make 100% sure the two ground wires are connected. If you don't the oil cooler lines become a ground....Don't ask how I know.
I also would prime the fuel system upto the intake mani.
I pulled my valve covers off soaked a rag in oil, then coated everything. If it was a new build I'm...
Agreed. The viper is not a "high tech" sports car. Paddle shifters would be out of place.
Keep the 6-sp, it works fine. The viper is a Driver's car. Not a car for the masses.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE ACR! Rough, Raw and Respected.
Maybe when I get old and crusty, I'll loose the ACR. I don't see myself getting a newer viper...unless they come out with something like the "SRT/Mopar" concept car.
I haven't got the kit yet. Paolo and I have been viper buddies for a LOOONNNGGGG time. Paolo KNOWS when I Finnish paying off ONE last thing(My house)...then Paolo and I are going to build a Viper that will have 10,000 FISTS IN THE AIR
When I lived in Washington, I used them often.
Now that I'm here in Florida, I haven't used them once. I'll pull them off this weekend...thanks for the idea. That will drop about 10lbs off the car :D
Now your talking. Now just get the T/C, Backup camera, StabTrack and on-star and your set :2tu: The easy way would be for you to trade in your Viper and get something more your style....pssst...CHEVY
Bring your new bucket down to the Event Dec 9th...I'd love to run you. :drive:
Sweet! I know Paolo is a busy guy. I'm very happy his turbo systems are taking off. You guys need to leave him alone so he can get *my* Blue 96 GTS done...I mean, um...Paolo's GTS :D
You'll love the Kit, I can't wait to get mine.
No paddle shifter here. I don't have issue shifting this "old" & "Clunky" T-56. Maybe if some of you girly-men lifted more than a bag of chips and a can of beer, you could shift better.
Got to love Ruckdr, The man can still shift better than most 30 y/o's.
