added some new toys to the Viper tonight, and added problems too...
How does the fan help heat soak in the aluminum heads and block once the water pump stops turning?? Isnt the water trapped in the hottest parts! The heads and block?? The fan would only cool the water in the radiator and blow air on the front of the motor.. This may cool the theromstat housing...- EXECMALIBU

small hole in soft top ??
I just had them replace my soft top under warranty.. 1996-2001 brand new RT-10 soft top instructions: Very important DC does not sell the soft top material!! you must buy a complete new top @ $2,680+ tax!!! Very carefully take the top off the viper..Then very carefully follow the DC...- EXECMALIBU

Changed all plugs today.
my experiance with spark plugs seems to conflict with the post about copper conducting as well as platinum! not in vintage 2 stroke racing motorcycles when i installed a new ngk bp8e-s (copper plug) in vintage racing bultaco motorcycles the bikes are difficult or near impossible to start...- EXECMALIBU

2001 GTS Overheating

CARROL SHELBY! HOW WAS HE INVOLVED IN THE VIPER??
THE VIPER IS NOTHING LIKE THE 427 COBRA... THE COBRA WAS AN ABSOLUTE MONSTER!! THE COBRA IS VERY SMALL AND VERY LIGHT (2,250LBS+/-) WITH TONS OF POWER!..THE DOORS WERE CUT VERY LOW SO YOU FELT TOTALLY EXPOSED.. YOU COULD EASILY THROW IT AROUND WITH JUST A TAP ON THE TROTTLE.. THEY OFFER AIR CONDITIONING,POWER WINDOWS, 200 WATT STEREO WITH CD PLAYER BUT THEY WONT GIVE THE OWNER ANY STORAGE... SEEMS STUPID TO ME..
