    Saw this 2002 GTS on ebay. He says in the ad that his reserve is only $50K! If this is legit then this is an awesome deal. Ebay ad I just baught a 2000 steel gray/silver stripes 2 days ago to replace my wrecked 02, otherwise I'd be all over this. Bill

    Why not just pocket the $28k and then sell the car. With a clean title you should be able to get about $20k for it. Thats a total of $48k. You could then go out and replace the car with money to spare. Bill

    I saw the car coming in my rearview. I immediately took my foot off the brake. I think this softerned the impact alot. The hit pushed my car forward about 50 feet, even with the rear draging on the ground. I was able to steer it into the emergancy lane, thus avoiding hitting cars infront of me...

    I talked to the adjuster at Hagerty. She was really nice, but said that they will only total a car if the repair is more then the stated value amount (in my case, $65k). I told her that if they didn't total the car then I didn't want it fixed. I would sell the car and pocket the insurance...

    At first I was really pissed at them. However, they have their own problems. Ones in serious condition, the other in critical. They don't have any medical payments coverage on their policy. And to top it all off, it turns out they are both HIV positive.

    Value of totalled GTS?

    Be careful of that site. I've heard its scam. None of these cars are theirs. They are just a referral source. They make you pay a membership fee and then none of the deals pan out. Heres a site where you can guy wrecked vipers direct. Viperwrecks Bill
