I have been caught twice in the rain already! Still trying to get over credit card shell-shock (shelling out that is) but I can see another expensive item coming up as I need a soft top.
In Vanouver if you don't like the weather just wait a minute. :quack:
I wonder if this is the way of the future?
GM said it hoped to float the company on the stock exchange again "as soon as practical".
The US government has said it does not want to be involved in the day-to-day running of the carmaker.
The company also said it was exploring a...
When I was a regular on the Corvette Forum, (140,000 plus members) a thread came along about the demise of the Viper.
There was a suprising outpouring of sympathy and regret that such a car would no longer be produced.
This petition should be circulated through all of the muscle car forums...
Just an observation from a Canadian perspective here but the trip I took three weeks ago, driving the RT back to Canada from LA was an eye opener.
You people have more State Troopers per 100 miles along the I5 and Coastal Routes than I have seen anywhere in the world! Also planes overhead...
Like the Good Lord said, "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone".
Is there anyone here who has not gone 90 mph in their Viper? At that speed, stuff happens.
This man has paid big time for his mistake! Like someone mentioned we should pray for him and the families!
This is the Car Fax for the RT in Lynnwood I got from the dealer. Sorry about the chaos this is the way it came.

Sorry guys, another newbie question here ... What does the Lock Button do? Doors but also is there an alarm? (How do I make it go off for a test? The horn beeps when I hit the button but grabbing the door handle after it is armed or rocking the car doesn't do anything).
Is there an...
June 12th I bought my 2000 RT/10 for $29,000 USD. Good condition with 27,000 miles and clean Car Fax. I have put 3,000 miles on it my self now and am very happy with it.
2000 Dodge Viper RT/10
Hope this helps.
Took aa trip up country after the plates went on and car ran as cool as before. In the city, stop and start it wouldn't matter but at any rate temperature has stayed the same.
I wish I could keep the car clean of front plates altogether but I got an $85 ticket already for being without one in...
This is the only setup that I like the looks of. I did this with my Z06 and never had an issue with the Boys in Blue, hopefully they will be happy! With no front plate I did have an issue.
I didn't have to cut the plate either but bent it to use the sides for two-sided tape.
After reading several pages of this thread I have just one question ... WHAT KIND OF CRAZY-PEOPLE FORUM HAVE I JOINED HERE?
Actually I am a member of the Harley Forum (Gun totin' hard talking 1 percenters), the AC Cobra Forum, (Seat of the Pants rocketing into eternity dudes with no safety...
The only info I got on my new car was that there were no outstanding recalls. Have many or most of you been through these Technical Service Bulletins and are there any that I should worry about?
Automotive Recall and Technical Service Bulletin Titles for 2000 Dodge Viper RT-10 V10-8.0L VIN...
I drove my RT/10 back from LA to Vancouver without seeing a single Viper along the way, (dozens of vettes mind you), and since returning I have not seen a single one here in town.
So what are the odds that pulling into a busy gas station in small town Cache Creek BC on Sunday and the car...
I am finding it a challenge to get the hood closed properly, it seems that 2 times out of three it has a two inch gap on the pass side while locked down on the driver's side and the windsheild side is not aligned. Then I re-open all the way and try again and sometimes it fails again and...
I adjusted the knob mentioned above and the Gas and Clutch moved substantially back to give me all the room I want. In fact I think I will bring them back a bit!
Cool! :clap2:
My gas pedal is too close and my leg is bent too much operating it. My son with his longer legs couldn't stand it!
This picture shows the lower control arm being operated by the arm with the pedal. Is it possible to adjust this or hook the pedal directly to the lower control arm?
Have any...
