Jason,
I just filled in your catalogue request. I am interested in a bolt-on TT kit, what's the hp gain, (can you post dyno graphs) and what's the price shipped??
thanks!
Not to say it is he right thing to do, bu I've driven for hundreds of miles in total, at sustained speeds well over 120mph on tires with 1,2,even 3 patches and sometimes even a plug and never had a problem...
I am beginning to think this "rating" is just a legal "cover-your-ass" mumbo-jumbo...
What size pipe are using?
I had 3" straight-through from the collector back on my GenI, and I do as well on my GenIII now... Vortex cones helped somehow with the noise.
Ditto!
I love the blue/white GTS but it shows its age... I am sure 20 years in the future it will be a classic, maybe more than the GenIII but nowadays it is just a "last year's model" car.
Most of us who have owned both Gen I/II and Gen III's would not switch back for anything, even if we...

Jeff...
If you could offer the service to re-sell the stock parts that would boost your business by slashing your sale price. By cutting $10K off the price you would tap into a wAY BIGGER market.
I recommend you look into that.
Huh???
These are the numbers, I did the math for you:
RT/10's Cd .46 x 1.91 m2 frontal area = Cx .883
GTS Cd .39 x 1.91 m2 frontal area = Cx .744
Gen III's Cd .39 x 1.79 m2 frontal area = Cx .698
Gen III's have substantially less Cx.
Cheers, Jose
I really hate the PG ratings here.
We are all old enough to own Vipers, why do we have to act like we are in damnned Disney-World??
roofum as nuts as he is is good entertainment. I wish there was an online equivalent of throwing change at him, I betcha he'd be rich!
Even with an aftermarket shifter, do not expect miracles... still a crappy feeling, although WAY BETTER than stock.
I haven't driven a car with a better shifter than my old 996 with a B&M shifter. it was a pleasure to row through the gears!
Nothing beats the feeling of a short throw shifter. In any car, that is always my first mod.
So yes, that technique is in fact good and proven. But I still suggest for anyone to buy the shifter and replace that HORRIBLE and unconfortable U-haul-truck shifter that comes from the factory.
I did the SAME EXACT THING the first night I bought the car and I almost kill myself, I started fishtailing in traffic and luckily I was able to regain control.
Next morning I ordered the HURST Shifter, and never had that problem again.
The clunk you heard was 99% axle hop, because the wheels...
Again, that looks SICK!! I always dreamed what a coupe's rear would look like on a vert... "Answer is AMAZING"!
Steep price though... ouch!!!
Let's see those Photoshop experts make it change colors... Or how about B/W picture?
