    sway bar disconnect?

Ok. After messing around with it for about 15 minutes or so, I figured that is was more trouble than it may be worth.

    sway bar disconnect?

I was going to disconnect my front sway bar for the track on Sunday, but I can't get it disconnected from the end links. Are both ends of the end links tapered like a tie rod or similar? I could easilly get the end like nuts off, but that's it. Any iseas? Thanks!!

TNT nitrous dyno run.....graph looks similar to 2001 GTS'.....

Re: TNT nitrous dyno run.....graph looks similar to 2001 GTS\'..... John, The A/F reading is taken at the tailpipe. From what I was told, that is the reason that the lean spike occured after the initial hit because it took a little bit of time for the A/F sendor to get it's reading due to the...

TNT nitrous dyno run.....graph looks similar to 2001 GTS'.....

Re: TNT nitrous dyno run.....graph looks similar to 2001 GTS\'..... Thanks for the replies. John, I do have a purge on the car. Is the VEC2 pretty easy to install and tune with? Does Sean Roe provide good customer support with the opurchase of one? Will that lean spike hurt a piston in...

TNT nitrous dyno run.....graph looks similar to 2001 GTS'.....

Re: TNT nitrous dyno run.....graph looks similar to 2001 GTS\'..... The length of the lines from the solenoids to the nozzles are about 18". I have stock headers and a 3" B&B catback. I think it may hve the high flow cats, but I'm not sure. I haven't pulled the side sills to check...

TNT nitrous dyno run.....graph looks similar to 2001 GTS'.....

TNT nitrous dyno run.....graph looks similar to 2001 GTS\'..... My '97 GTS now has a TNT nitrous sytem on it. We took it to the dyno this evening to see what it's doing. This is the first time I've ever dyno'd my car at this location and the 2nd time dynoing it ever. The car has a K&N...

Anyone try the Silverstar Halogen headlights and foglights

They look good. Much better than just the regular fog lamp bulbs. But, they aren't quite as good as the HID's. As far as which HID's to get, I don't know. My car already had the HID's when I bought it.

Anyone try the Silverstar Halogen headlights and foglights

I have them installed in my fogs. They are much better than the OEM bulbs. They aren't as good as HID's, but they do look and work nice. I already had HID headlights.

If this is your car, lower it!

I'm in the same boat as you. I'd love to lower mine, but I don't want to drag the front end on every thing.

Z8? [where's that 'drool' smiley?] My favorite is black with red interior. That would be a nice daily driver!

Please Help ! Stripped Acorn Wheel Nut

    Damn, that sounds painful!

Please Help ! Stripped Acorn Wheel Nut

No, you want to use an impact socket rather than a regular one. Impact sockets are generally black in color and they have much thicker walls for more strength.

Please Help ! Stripped Acorn Wheel Nut

If those don't work, take an 1/2" drive impact socket that is slightly smaller than nut itself and hammer it on. then, just take your breaker bar and loosen it.

    Supercharger vs Normally Aspirated?

    [******]. I went 11.6 @ 121 with only a cat-back and a K&N intake.

    Supercharger vs Normally Aspirated?

If my car only ran 12's with all of that, I'd kill myself.

    Personalized plate ideas

I just got mine yesterday: DROPOWT Actually, "DROPOUT" was taken buy a guy with a Bentley Continental GT, here in town. I had the idea for about 2 months or so, then one day a friend of mine told me he saw that Bentley. So, I figured this is just as good, if not better.

    Is This For Real

Thats an old one... Basically, it's a resistor that you install inline with your Intake Aircharge Temp. sensor, or IAT, that tricks the ECU into thinking that the car is running in a cooler air temp than it actually is. Therefore, the ECU just gets more aggressive with timing, fuel delivery...

    7.99@177mph

I think that 1/8 mile should be around 5.3x and the 1/8 trap should be around 147-ish.

Went to the track today and made some good passes....

yeah, I've been drag raing for years now with many other vehicles and I'm ususally very accurate with my predictions. As long as the clutch and the track hold, I think I'll be allright.

Went to the track today and made some good passes....

This was my second outing with the car. The first time at the track netted a 12.15 @ 117. Today I went 11.6 @ 121 with a 1.86 60'. The only mods to the car is a B&B catback, a K&N air intake and Kumho's on the rear. As long as the clutch holds, I think I'm a 100 shot away from...

    Ported heads and intake questions....

Thanks for the replies. If I did the supercharger, I think I'd like the 8lb. pulley. The car with an intake and a B&B catback makes just over 450 rwhp SAE. For whatever reason, it seems to make some good power. I think something in the 600 rwhp range would be nice.

    Ported heads and intake questions....

I am looking into getting a set of heads ported, rocker arms, etc, but I was wondering if the intake manifold needs to be ported, other than port matching to really make the heads come alive. For a street car/ drag car, which header primary size is best? When doing heads, rockers, intake...
