I've been very happy with the service at Chantilly Ourisman DOdge on Rt 50 just west of Rt 28. Ask for Rob. Viper Tech is Dwayne. I'm not saying they are cheap, but the service and quality has been the best I've ever expereinced with any car at any dealership I've used.
Hennessey is...
It says they make that $2500 wax for only a limited number of collectors and enthusiasts per year. I'm sure I'm not important enough that they would even think about taking my money.
There are no striped cars on the production line. Once built and inspected, the cars are shipped to Prefix for stripping and then return to CAAP to await customer delivery.
Based on what I saw at CAAP in Feb and what I've seen on line, it's going to take weeks between build completion...
congrast, Fast.
The only time I've been pulled and ticketed in the last 24 years was last Nov. in Faquier on I-66. I wasn't as lucky as you. He got me for no front plate, 79 in a 65 (but claimed he could have written it for 83 but didn't want to hit me with the $1000 bonus fine we had until...
There is a mid 70's movie called the Gumball Rally. It was a movie so horribly bad they made it three times. The later two knockoffs featured Burt Reynolds and friends in Cannonball Run and Cannonball run II. Despite the bigger names and budgets of the Cannonball versions, the movies only got...
Update on Viper and driver: I went back to Summit Point Friday. The head instructor confirmed that the 08 Black Vert was totalled and that the worst part for the driver was having to face his wife when she came to pick him up that night. So it sounds like the driver didn't spend much time at...
I'm almost positive I saw that a CAAP tour is one of the options during VOI 10. If you're not trying to scheudle so that you can see your specific car being built, VOI would probably be a good time to visit with all your Viper cohorts.
The first goal of every bureacracy is to protect the bureacracy.
The second goal of every bureacracy is to obtain more power and control.
Maybe somewhere down at the third or fourth goal does that bureacracy actually start worrying about deliverying it's stated purpose.
That's why...
I've been told by educated and expereienced racers that there is no way you should plug that tire if it will be on the track. If it is street use only, maybe it is OK. HOWEVER...
I just replaced the run-craps on my 04 with PS2s courtesy of JonB - Parts Rack. It is flat out amazing how much...
Welcome to VCA and the VA/MD/DE chapter. Go to
VA/MD Region of the Viper Club of America :: Virginia/Maryland Region Viper Club
and register on that site as well. There's not much action on that forum but you'll see our calendar of events. I think there is a dyno day this weekend not to...

Max meadows?!? You come from a mystical and strange land where one section of road goes north, south, and west, all at the same time. Arthur Davis, I don't think we can trust you. ;-)
I don't know. In the brief time I got to admire the car, noting the state of the plate wasn't high on the list of priorities. Now I wish I had been more observant.
I disagree.
If my post gave the impression new-Viper-guy was being an idiot or egomaniac, then I apologize. We really don't know how it happened; all we know is it ended badly. Maybe it was too much ego (I've seen lots of that at the track), or maybe it was just trying to hard, or maybe he...
A Tale of Two Vipers
It was the best of times; it was the worst of times…it was my fourth trip to the track. But it was my first trip to a wet track (cue ominous evil music). In fact, my experience with Vipers and wet pavement was so near zero, that as I drove to the track in a gentle rain...
I just finished a day at the track, I'll post the tale of woe shortly, and I'm with you. I don't know that track, but it looks to me like the Viper was on the right line to make the pass. I can't tell from the Vid whether Viper guy was too hot or Vette was unexpectedly breaking too hard for...
I'm fairly new to Vipers and Dodge. Based on the threads from Viper Mag collectors and each quarter from folks looking for their mags, a lot of people like what Dodge is doing for us. I don't read this pub cover to cover, but I've enjoyed all the issues and especially this one. When I was at...
No knowledge required to post on youtube. I especially liked comments about the other "Viper", the one with the round tail lights and the boat tail rear end.
You're right about the space. I don't know how a tall, broad sholdered man fits in the seat.
The pedals are up a bit and I shuld have shown you where the electric adjustment is, on the bottom of the steering column, about between your knees.
No apology needed. I know that those...
Hey, maybe you just aren't used to driving a car with so much power!
Sometime soon we have to do another swap. It wasn't fair to you or the car. It handles WAY better now. I find out at Summit Point tomorrow just how much better it handles.
