All metal GTS Viper key wanted

I have read several posts mentioning an all metal GTS Viper key. I think I remember seeing a sterling silver one awhile ago. Does anyone have information on any out there? It would be nice if someone could post a picture of one (the sterling silver one or any other all metal one). Thanks!

    Electrical Grounding

According to an online service manual database, all of the grounds (that is, the sensor grounds and power grounds) are internally connected inside the PCM, which would indicate they all provide the same reference (that is, they are not isolated from each other). However, it is further indicated...

    CD-R for stock 01 Viper

Have you tried a 650 MB (74 min) CD-R? The 700 MB (80 min) ones have a tighter track pitch, so your head unit may have difficulty skipping tracks to locate the track representing the beginning of another song.

How do I add a picture next to my name?

How do I add one of those small pictures next to my name that appears to the left my posts? Also, how do I change the word "Enthusiast" under my name to something else (i.e., Viper owner)?

anyone use the Autometer electric fuel pressure gauge?

I have had one in my supercharged Mustang for about four years, and it still works great. It was easy to install and responds quickly to fuel pressure changes.

    Clunking in rear end

My 2001 ACR has no driveline clunk noise, but my car makes a single clunk/pop noise at the rear of the car each time I go over a sharp bump (small or large). The noise will come from the side of the car that went over the bump. Because it is at the rear, I suspect it could be loose...

Has your seat leather been replaced?

For those of you that got the dealer to replace the leather, did they replace both the seat bottom and seat back? Also, what are typical prices for the aftermarket leather upgrades (i.e., GCHDEALER, SnakeHydes, etc.)?

    2000 Rims on a 95?

Not to get on a tangent, but how do I paste an image directly into a response I want to post (like what was done with the rear-view picture in the above responses)?

Has your seat leather been replaced?

It definitely sounds like a dealer's willingness to replace the leather varies from dealer to dealer. I am sure I will catch a lot of grief for this question, but... has anyone every replaced the leather with cloth? I know leather looks/smells better and is factory, but cloth seems more...

Has your seat leather been replaced?

From what I have read/heard, numerous people have had their seat leather wear/crack somewhat rapidly. This occurrence seams atypical (compared to other cars on the road), especially considering that Viper owners typically take very good care of their Viper(s). I have a few questions for those...

    BAD ASS VIDEO!!!

The PAL system refers to the recording format on the tape. The USA (among other countries, including Mexico and Japan) uses the NTSC format. As InjectTheVenom indicated, Europe (among other countries, including Singapore and Australia) uses the PAL format. The PAL format has a slower frame...

Center console cracking problem!! 2 vipers so far!

Is the improved replacement piece standard on a certain year and newer, or do all years come with the weaker version from the factory? I have a 2001 ACR, and its center console seems rather flexible.

Aftermarket Side Windows And Installing Skip Shift Eliminator

Regarding the installation of the skip-shift eliminator, one way is to jack up the car on the driver's side using one of the jack points, making sure the car is safely supported. You can then reach the skip-shift solenoid connector to install the eliminator (you should not need to remove the...

Why do my vents change where the air blows when the engine is loaded?

PBJ, Thanks for the help. Just as I suspected... vacuum-related. Does the Dakota check-valve simply further reduce the amount of flow back through the valve? I would think that if it sealed "perfectly" in one direction, then when you wanted to actually change the air flow from the three dash...

Why do my vents change where the air blows when the engine is loaded?

I am aware that the A/C shuts off under notable engine load, but I am curious why the air flowing out of the three dash vents switches to the windshield defroster vents.

Why do my vents change where the air blows when the engine is loaded?

I have a 2001 ACR. Let's say I have the A/C on, and it is blowing out of the three dash vents directly above the radio. Whenever the engine is notably loaded, the air stops blowing out of the three dash vents and starts coming out of the windshield defroster vents. The air will resume blowing...

Do You Rev The Engine Before Downshifting??

If your car is jerking forward when you let the clutch back out after the downshift, then you are likely revving the engine too high... the engine's rotational inertia is attempting to increase the drivetrain's RPM as the clutch engages (thus, the forward jerk). The car should not notably jerk...

    Smog in Ca.

Although my Viper is not supercharged, I have a 1998 Mustang GT with an intercooled 10 psi ProCharger system. When I had that car emission tested on a rolling dynometer, the operator never loaded the engine enough to achieve notable positive manifold pressure. Thus, the engine behaved...

Is it normal for the ACR suspension to make a "popping" noise?

Re: Is it normal for the ACR suspension to make a Chuck, Thanks for the input, and I appreciate your willingness to help. I will give you a call for some additional insight. FYI, I assumed it was normal, since both sides (especially at the rear) do it.
