    How many?

    Did not like it as much as my Gen II. The side exhaust is really not helping things. It sounds very truck like. Seems smaller inside. But I did lower my seat a couple of inches on the GTS. No comparison, they took a exotic and turned it into a normal car.

    What would be the ballpark price for Striker heads and cam? And would "Striker heads/cam/headers/exhaust" really get 600 hp at the wheel on a Gen II?

    Did anyone use band clamp's to install Random's High Flow Cat's

    The tape and the glue might work on the muffler part but right next to the CAT the temperature is so high that most would melt. I tried searching for the tape and glue solutions on google but most reports seems to point towards not working on the CATS.

    Thanks Jon, but one question that I still have is, WHAT do we replace the burned insulation with? Would some kind of exhaust tape work? In my case the insulation looks ok, but the aluminum wrap covering it is black and cracks and desintegrates when you touch it.

    But what about the water that gets in? Also, the header pipe has quite a bit of room around it going into the still, so I don't know if air coming in is realy a problem. It seems to me that the factory CAT was so big that it blocked all the air from flowing properly to the back.

    Well, you can waste a lot of time going back and forth with the dealer or talk to JonB and see if you can work out a deal on a rotor and some pads. May be able to do it for around $200. Most likely the e-brake cable was adjusted too tight. But in the end they will still blame it on you.

    Tell you what, go to your neigborhood dealer and tell them you have a problem with the transmission. I guarantee you that they will not fix it on a 02.
