I thought i put the timing chain in wrong or a bad cam so pulled cam out put a new one in. The last thing was dist. Then it hit me i wired the plugs in the wrong...

    Could be cat my car did it last week it was a o2 sensor. Try swaping the left for the right see if other side gets hot. If you have a scan tool you will maybe see fuel trim at -25% or more on the bank that is hot. If its 02 dont buy bosch

    My 98 also does the similar thing. I idles so slow the car sounds like it has a big cam. Lope lope lope. I had a broken wire on tps it helped some. Still idles low. Car bucks sometimes nasty. I have changed parts also.

    Problem with my GTS (feels like she missing spark/fuel)

    my 98 GTS, I replaced battery, unpluged 3 plugs into pcm, cleaned iac control, un pluged throttle sensor it was under a vaccum line and was pulling on run it on top of vaccum line. today no break up problem at any rpm.

    my 98 gts, replaced fuel pump thursday with walbro 255, still have the problem with mine. Im going to change battery this week.

    I have a 98 gts that has the same problem. I did a fuel pressure test and it bounces from 40 to 80 when the motor runs like crap.i ordered a pump off a parts website but its the wrong one. going to Dodge tomorrow to order the right one. VCA member get a discount so its only 730.00
