Gear lever broke (and shifters)

Painted red dash on 94 RT/10?
Here's a pic of Zippy's (Rob McPhee) dash that I painted. I just used a 3M red scotch brite pad with soapy water to stip off the soft grey paint (it takes an hour or so but won't damage the plastic). Car cranks but no fire sometimes?
One possibility would be corrosion at wiring connections (especially near the battery). That's probably the first place I would look. Any disconnection/loss of battery power would set the alarm. They have checked out the battery haven't they? (another possibility).- Rich Detert

Question about Dyno correction factor
Can someone explain exactly what is the correction factor on a dyno run? (I think I know , but I just want to make sure I understand it correctly). If my dyno sheet says it has a 1.00 SAE correction factor what does that mean? Thanks, Rich- Rich Detert

Dyno Results

Nail in rear tire,plug repaired,good to go?
Do Not repair any tire with a plug! It is not an acceptable repair and will usually void the warranty on the tire. The only manufacturer approved repair is a patch on the inside. The problem with a plug is that air can possibly seep past the plug and separate the plies of the tire. Patch It...- Rich Detert

Home body work...How do you repair a side sill?
The biggest problem is going to be that the side sills are made out of stamped aluminum (I think technically they're hydroformed aluminum). Re: Ack! I can\'t see!! (no reverse lights) I had the same problem, it was the reverse light switch that had gone bad. It's also possible that if they pulled the trans when they rebuilt the engine they may have forgot to plug the connection back together. Good luck!- Rich Detert
