Impossible to find at Walmart around here if you want Mobil1 0W40. The oil (10.5qt) will run you close to $80 with tax from Advance or the Zone these days. :omg:
My local Dealer/ViperTech does the oil change and provides the filter for $25, so the total is only slightly more than $100...

That used to be the case, but it changed a few years ago. Today calling a toll free number from outside the US works just fine. You'll first reach an automated recording informing you that your call is NOT toll free since you're calling from outside the US. After that information is delivered...
Good advice and is easy to do with a high-torque car like the Viper.
However, try this on a heavy foreign car with a small 1.5 liter engine and you will be out of luck (the engine will stall if you don't push the gas :D )
I just checked the manual, and it says:
In the picture, the arrow clearly points to the the hex bolt of the generator housing, or am I missing something :dunno:
(BTW, this is in regards where to hook up starter cables. The manual does not mention where to hook up charger cables, but if...
Going below the speed limit should be just as illegal as going over the speed limit...
So doing 30 in a 45 should incur the same fine as doing 60 in a 45...
Someone doing 30 in a 45 is much more of a traffic hazard. He/she makes everyone tailgate or pass even when passing is prohibited...
:omg: No kidding... Here's how I would do it:
1) CNC mill (or manually operated mill)
2) Hand held router with guides
3) Dremel
Filing is something I did when I was a kid and could not afford proper tools...
I would go straight for #1 even though programming the mill will take some time...
The cars are made for driving! My main concern is having to park the car in strange places and end up getting door dings or getting the car keyed, etc... :crazy2:
I removed mine after the car had sit in the sun between 1pm to 4pm on a hot summer day. They easily peeled off in one part. I wiped off the glue residue left by the stickers with Isopropanol (Walmart) and then applied leather/vinyl treatment since the isopropanol also removes all natural oils...
That's a very valid point! I bought my Mustang used with 22k on the Odo. The 30k service cost me a whopping $540 (!!!) no tires, only regular stuff like fluids, filters, alignments etc.
So, when it was time for the 60k service, I expected the same cost since the service requirements were the...
That's a VERY bad idea! :nono: If one of the batteries is down to 10V and the other battery is a full 12-13V, the less charged battery will be charged by the other battery when you connect them in parallell. The charge current will only be limited by the resistance in the cables that...
In Europe everyone rides a bus/tram/train, and so did I. I never owned a car until I moved to the US in 2001. These are the cars I have owned since then:
2001: Pontiac Trans Am ('97). Engine stalled when driving over water puddles. Annoying!
2003: Corvette Coupe ('00). The previous owner had...
Why not call him "European" instead. I'm from Europe and I'm glad to escape the Mini-, Citroën-, Fiat- and Smart-lovers over there...
Europeans can't afford the cost of gas (4x the US cost) and therefore the Viper does not make sense to them...
Each to their own!
(No, I'm not gay, but I...
