Gen 2 Dashboard
Correct. Do you have a Service Manual? I am selling one. It spells it out nicely, but not hard. After getting all(hidden ones too), it should pop up, then out. Make sure your steering wheel is at the lowest point and be careful not to scratch the window stanchions.- 99RT10GTS

1999 Dodge Viper exhaust system OEM does this have 4 Catalytic Converters?
No, there is only one cat per side. There are resonators behind the cats. The Gen 3/4 cars have 2 cats.- 99RT10GTS

Another crank no start thread but with a twist
These engines/cars are known to have issues if the cam Position Sensor goes out, no codes thrown, turns into a guessing game. I am having a similar issue on my 2001 RT, first thing I do when I get back to it is swap the cam sensor. If you find the issue, would love to know what it was. Pop...- 99RT10GTS

Was there an AAR edition Viper?

Advice Needed.
Unlikely to have a cracked headers cause this fire, which is wild that happened. I am with RedtanRT that is could have been a clogged cat. Where in Tennessee? I am up in Johnson City, good bet that is going to be totaled, but you can buy it back and fix, but it looks ugly. I am selling a bunch...- 99RT10GTS
