Backup is not that complicated. It is power from the main camera and is not strictly a backup camera but also a recording camera so tapping into reverse lights is not needed.
All you now to do is power the main unit and run the wire to the rear camera. No cutting holes. Just fish the wire...
What dashcam do you have? As they are just powered from the cigarette lighter.
The backup cam is a little more involved but you now talking about drilling holes and tapping wires.
I do not have a Gen V manual but the 2005 has some tests.
Gain access to and disconnect the Driver Power Window Motor connector
Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, check the Driver Window Up Driver
circuit.
With the DRBIIIt, actuate the DRV WINDOW UP.

Yes I read your full post 1 day before I posted about the 3D. But that is your option as machine shop will charge $$$ for the labor and now need a license agreement to use the sneaky Pete logo adding more $$$.
Racetronix. @GTS Dean did one you had to reverse the power leads.
They need to machine the plastic down for the Viper application. I think for the sock.
Or buy some playing cards, different sandpaper grades, clear coat and go to it.
Unless you have a chunk that requires welding fill in. Some will use bondo to fill that in so watch out.
