    502 CID, 700 HP V-10

    I know it's a truck motor but this guy has found a way to make it go fast. I think he uses 2 five cylinder (Saab) distributors. This motor is for sale at racer-net for $14000. Anyone know this guy? Looks pretty cool.

    This is what the Crower roller rocker can do that a shaft mounted rocker can't. I noticed a loud tick from the V-10 in my truck and it was running a little rough, too. This is what I found. I am one lucky SOB that I didn't drop a valve. The truck V-10 has a 4500 rpm red line.

    Removing sport shims as easy as it looks?

    Jay, Popping them out is a snap. Putting them back is only slightly more work. I have pulled the shims without re-alignment for an autocross (10 laps total) and had no problems with excessive tire wear. I trailered it there also. I have been warned that a road course would require a front end...

    Got the gas, and it gave me the giggles

    Rob, If you mean "jets", I started off with the 22 (propane) and 46 (nitrous). That lasted about 1 bottle. I quickly up-jetted to the 26 and 52. Now I want more!

    Have been reading some interesting stuff on fuel additives on the Cobra site.....

    I was once told that what make super unleaded SUPER was BXT. Benzene (probably not so much now), xylene, and toluene. If anyone knows the recipe I have 8000 gallons of toluene at work! No.............I would never do that. Hmmmmmm.

    Line Lock and the O-ring removed.

    All of the line lock installations that I have seen put the line lock before the proportioning valve. Will this work if the O-ring has been removed from the prop. valve? Any other road/drag racers out there who've done it? Thanks,

    Saw Venom 800 twin turbo on the dyno today.....
