    Fixing Viper flaws II

I am certain that there was no attention to detail when it came to the Viper excluding the motor and performance. There's way too many hacks and annoyances from simple things like 4 different types of fasteners to get to the battery or air conditioning controls that don't work as expected or...

94 Viper starts, dies, but then starts and runs great

I'd say check the plugs and/or wires first, throttle bodies next.

Dump it or restore it (96 RT/10 Special Edition)

I have been slowly refreshing all the suspension parts that wear out like bushings and ball joints. Getting my 97 ready for the next 20 years. Also plan on gaskets and seals as I go along. It's a journey.

    NEED HELP...Had an ACCIDENT

I don't think Chuck does bodywork or painting. Look at reputable body shops locally. Check out the cleanliness, yes cleanliness, of their paint shop. A dirty paint shop will show up eventually in the paint. That's a beautiful car. Fight with the insurance company for the right shop. Visit local...

Gen 2 rear ball joint replacement.

I'm looking at replacing the old rear ball joints (both upper and lower) without having to purchase the control arms. I tried RockAuto and came up blank. Any options that do not involve Viper tax? I searched the forum but did not find a conclusive answer. I'm hoping someone has done this since...

    Gen 1 New Windshields

I have a Gen 2 so this doesn't affect me but I'd like to point out that for cars that are 20+ years old, there will always be something that breaks. Today it is the windshield, then the headlight, then the tail light, etc. I don't see Dodge ponying up for a run of parts as it brings all the...

    Windshield Wipers Sword-fight

That sucks! I'm at a loss as well but the only option left is the controller.

    Windshield Wipers Sword-fight

The passenger wiper seems to stutter in both videos while the driver wiper barely stutters in the first. I'm still calling out the passenger motor as it definitely stutters in all 3 videos.

    Windshield Wipers Sword-fight

Glad you have the manual. Have you done the 3 tests in the manual for the Wiper Motor, Switch and Wiring? Here's my train of thought. - The driver motor seems fine on outward stroke and stop. - The passenger motor seems to stutter on both the outward stroke and stop. - The controller is fine...

    Windshield Wipers Sword-fight

Did you remove the wiper arms or just the wiper blades? Because it's obvious that there is some adjustment needed. I have a huge writeup in the service manual on this but it's better to narrow it down if possible. Also, do the blades touch each other in the parked position? Here's some wiper...

93 RT10 ran out of gas, now wont start

Try draining it from the injector side (not sure where exactly, others chime in). Collect it in a clear container and verify that you indeed have water in your gas. Water is heavier and should settle.

    Viper 2001 Wont start

That's battery for sure. Charge it and you should be fine unless it's too old. You can charge it at the terminals behind the left front wheel and don't need to take the battery off (PITA) unless it's totally dead. The lights and electronics require much less power than the starter motor needs...

Mid-Engined Dodge Viper Rendered as C8 ChevroletCorvette Rival-Auto Evolution

I'd rather wait for a no-engine Viper. BEV! The design can continue to resemble a Viper and not morph into something unrecognizable.
