    Oil Pressure?

11 quarts is also the amount they indicated for my last oil change at the dealer. My oil pressure also reads near 80 when cold. Not sure what it reads when warmed up but it does drop significantly.

Run-flats, Run flats, where art thou Run-flats?

Yes Ted, I totally agree -- the vast majority of the comments say the PS2's are much better. The only reason I'm considering run-flats is for that rare event when you have a blow out from something cutting your tire (such as happend to me) out of town and out of cell phone range (where the...

    A/S Run-Flats on an '08?

The question might be moot since the run-flats (at least the rear tires) cannot be had -- at least not now. As of 5/27/08: Although Michelin has a backlog of 360 rear tire viper run-flats, they have made no commitment to produce more -- at least thru July 1st. And would make no promise that...

Tire Pressure and Tread Wear question

I have an '03 Viper with 17K miles on it with the stock Michelin run-flats. Most people report much less such as 10K miles. But I don't burn rubber at every stop light or take the car to the track -- mostly normal driving and most on the highway. I've kept the pressure at spec (i.e. 29 psi...

Run-flats, Run flats, where art thou Run-flats?

Thank you all for all your comments. If I buy PS2's for the rear I'll get PS2's for the front also. 1. Price difference between run-flat and PS2: I've not seen any significant price difference between the original equipment run-flat compared with the PS2. For example, tirerack.com currently...

Run-flats, Run flats, where art thou Run-flats?

I've had no luck finding a set of rear Michelin run-flats for my '03 Viper that have a manufacturing date inside of 2 years. And it is looking like Michelin is getting less interested in producing more of these tires even though someone posted that Michelin had committed to support the Viper...

A bit of a dumb move - gas cap

My '03 Viper has tethered gas cap. Seems strange that someone (above) reported that their '06 Viper did not have it.

    Hot air entering passenger side

I had exactly the same complaint with my'03 SRT-10 when I picked it up last June. Driving around town I measured the air temperature out of the passenger side air duct with the fan on maximum speed and venting outside air. The air temperature coming out of this duct, which would blow on the...
