Joseph:
When I was there, I saw about five Vipers (GTS and RT/10). Did more show later in the day?
There was several great resto-mods at the show; great morning for a car show.
Alice & The Viper Blog
They\'re Everywhere
We have been in the throes of deciding upon a "second" car (toy). We had narrowed it to the new SRT-10 coupe or a Porsche.
We had further considered and decided that a Porsche was the best choice. Since they depreciate more rapidly than a Viper, and since we do not keep...
What are the specific limiting factors that preclude the use of the comp coupe wing with the SRT-10 convertible. I understand that the Autoform wing is a direct bolt on, but can the comp coupe wing be adapted to fit the SRT-10 trunk? Thanks.
In the years during which I considered the purchase of a Viper, I rarely considered other cars. I occasionally touched base with the idea of a turbo Porsche, an AMG SL or an older Ferrari. Lambo was out of reach and the GT-40 obviously was not yet a twinkle in its father's eye.
I received a...
For those of you with an RB1:
a. How much did you pay?
b. If you did a self-install, how long did it take?
c. If you had a dealer install, what was the cost?
d. Do you plan on adding Sirius?
e. Do you plan on adding Monster Cable's iCruze (for iPOD)?
Thanks in advance.

I would like to hear from current S/C (in their SRT-10) owners and which rear axle they are running and what went into their decision-making.
There are essentially three popular rear axel options with an S/C SRT-10
a. 3.07 factory
b. 3.55
c. 3.73
Three opinions are often disputed...
At one point, I was offered an installed Paxton S/C for $7k (unpolished) and wondered what prices others have paid over the past 12 months for unit, installation and tune in an SRT-10. Thanks.
The following thread is solely for information helpful to the new or prospective SRT-10 buyer.
It is not a Discussion thread (which can occur elsewhere).
What we want from this thread are a series of message that provide the new/prospective owner with data that will be important to their...
The post of the 17 year-old, Viper owner, and the tragic death of his 18 year old passenger, brings to bear several important factors that are not being addressed (and Jim points out several):
1. The Viper is not like the muscle cars of the late 60s/early 70s.
2. The Viper requires...
Don't get me wrong, I do think my Mamba is over-the-top, but the wheels do not meet the design of the rest of the car.
From the moment that I saw the coupe, I felt that its wheels were sync'd with the coupe's basic form and function.
There are apparently limitless after market wheels. It is...
The new Copperhead is shown in the spring issue of VIPER Magazine.
That is one cool looking car.
In the display photo, they do not show any of the special features that Bill Pemberton suggested were forthcoming.
Since they do not show these items (ahem...wheels) in the ad, I see no reason why...
Wondering how many of you have a particular song or songs that you enjoy more when driving your SRT-10.
For me, it is No More Tears by Ozzy and/or Enter Sandman by Metallica.
Please respond only if you had serious plans to purchase the 2006 SRT-10 Coupe even after the announcement of the actual car (as outlined by Joe Houss).
(Thus, do not respond if you considered the Coupe until it was displayed, and are "now so disappointed that it does not..." (etc).*)

Take your SRT-10 mileage. Express it as follows (Eg: 6500 & 38)
Post your numbers here.
Hypothesis: Age is inversely related to mileage. Younger owners are more likely to have higher mileage (also more likely to drive their SRT-10 to the office on a daily basis).
Thus, my numbers are...
For those of you who swapped wheels and tires on their street driven SRT-10:
a. What combination...brand, size, etc. did you choose?
b. Pleased with your decision?
c. Cost?
d. Vendor?
e. How long on car to date?
Please post photos in response?
No repainted stock rims, please...
Inside the front wheel wells, just in front of the "V" to enable jack use, there is a ~4" x 12" piece of plastic.
It is held to the undercarriage by three fasteners...except that two are missing on my car.
Does anyone have a parts list and can tell me the number for these fasteners...
Valentine1 Reading - \"J\"
I could not find a mention on the Valentine1 site as to why each of my three radar detectors will occasionally go into respiratory arrest and all lights flash and a "J" appears in the display. Seconds later, all is well.
Thoughts appreciated.
Thank you.
I cannot recall which vendor sells the CompCoupe-like stainless exhaust surround for the SRT-10. Name would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Alice
Bill:
Heard any more about the Copperhead? Do you know when you will see the actual color, and can we assume that this is a run of 200 units as has been the pattern with the Mamba editions?
Thanks,
Alice
Anyone installed (or considered installing) the Autoform SRT-10 rear wing? Anyone seen other/better wings, and anyone interested in a group purchase.
Thank you
