Little experience with manuals. Learning in a Viper.h

A $500 5 speed beater to practice with is cheaper than a Viper clutch.

    A Nice Evening...

Great pics, and I love those wheels on that car. Very, very nice!

    Gen 1 with as differance

That really is bad ass. Great job, it looks mean.

    Charger Hellcat too

It sucks. I can understand if they don't want to offer one in every trim level, but the SRT trim level should offer a manual on the Charger. You are marketing to driving enthusiasts at that level. A least let a stick be an option.

    Charger Hellcat too

Why does the Challenger get 6 speed manuals but the Charger never has?

Has anyone yet tried to convert a Viper to "Lambo" doors ??

It was totally worth ruining that car to have those cool doors.

The heavier engine fits right in with the Challenger, that thing is a tank.

The current and future state of Viper sales and technology

I agree with this 100%. We are all on this forum because we love the Viper. However, to move a better number of cars, you can't just have a small number of loyalists with deep pockets as your customer base. And as sorry as I am to say it, if you are going to start shopping for a $130k car...

Kelly Blue Books Value of Vipers.. whats their deal and why are they so stupid?

If any decent 1994 could be had for $20k, it would be in my garage instead of the 1999 911 that is currently there.

    Vipers and Haters

That's the beauty of it. Love it or hate it. You can't ignore it.

Is this a good deal? RT10 on eBay:

Honestly, in hindsight, I'm glad I didn't. I'd rather have one a lot closer to stock even if it costs more. I could not have lived with that hood for very long.

Old Men Seem to Own Vipers, Why???

Disposable income has to be a key factor, but as a young(er) person (I'm 37), a big part of the reason I don't have a Viper goes well beyond just the money. I have two smaller kids to enjoy right now, they could not ride with me in the Viper at this point, so basically I would only get to use...

Is this a good deal? RT10 on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121200012086?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 I know 40k miles may be a little high for some, but I plan on driving any Viper I might end up with, so not as big a factor for me. I know this one has NOT had the gaskets done. Are the other mods on it...

Testing the waters for my diecast collection...

I couldn't use the whole collection, but the black hot wheels 1/18 GTSR is one I am after!

    What would you do?

I agree, despite the decals issues, take it out, build it, decal it up and enjoy it. There's no enjoyment to a boxed up car, and it does look cool once done, decal fitment issues be damned!

    What would you do?

Absolutely not. My luck was exactly the same.

    What would you do?

I bought one of those not long ago and I opened it and built it. I paid similar to you, around $20-$30 with shipping. It looks pretty cool built and done up, but the fit of some of the decals left much to be desired!! Beware!

    My 1st AutoArt Viper

I hope this doesn't make you think of your auto art Viper as promiscuous, but that exact model was my first auto art Viper, too!

Also, I did fix that crooked "40" on the front fender, that decal had not set yet!

My 1/24 RT10 Le Mans project

Ok, it's been a while, but here is where I am on this project. I took the car to my old man, he is retired and loves a challenge, so I showed him the car and the color. He worked on it off and on for a long time and got the paint looking way, way better. I have re-assembled the car and am...
